Reina did very nearly save it, which would have been nice considering his mixed season so far. It is a very clever dive from Valencia though, very clever indeed. Fooled me until I saw that .gif - only went and looked for one when I heard everyone on five live complain about it.
for me it is a pure and simple case of a ref being ready to throw a card at a player before the challenge was even made. shelvey mouthed off and waved his hands time and again at the ref and got away with some stuff so then a pure 50-50 occurs where both players go in and actually evans is more two footed and the ref is conditioned to go for shelvey.... the ref was very very poor there and also fell for kawaga flopping i nhis own half about 4 times as well..... i knew then game over..... suso decision was baflfing but not as baffling as playing borini who is a totally pointless individual at this point... people rightly call downing useless but this guy does nothing!!!! if suso is the choice over sahin or henderson.... big call. I like the kid but big big call. agger injured, shelvey gone for 3 and another loss.... in the end utd were so prror our ten menn could put our one cb left up top and lump it but guess hat no one thought to go play off him... carroll would be laughing i think at least we played ok mostly, just the same self destruction again....
Be amazing to see how your brain works... I'm looking at evidence that exonerates Shelvey and convicts Evans, yet you are posting as proof to the opposite. I'm seeing one leg Vs two. Can we dissect your brain, so we can see what the fook is wrong with Helsey?
I'll say one thing, I know it won't be worth that much, but referee match reports should be made public. The system just doesn't work when they are totally immune to any accountability.
UIR you are a complete cock and hilarious... you are making a fool of yourself.... the facts in this case are this incident decided the game, had evans seen red utd would have lost, shelvey did see red so FLC lost. The ref made a royal cock up... simple... the fact that both sides tried to play the game in the right way after it is at least a positive for both sides but you are still a complete fool for posting that and thinking you can say he tried to side foot it... hilarious... shelvey had talked himself into a card long before the indicent itself and that was why the ref picked on him not evans.
Rodgers has said he believes Evans should have seen red, that Valencia was not fouled and that Suarez should have had a penalty.
Best I think Ive EVER seen LFC play and lose, the lads should be proud of themselves,Johnson Gerrard Allen and IMMENSE What can you do when its 12 v 10 though
please log in to view this image Stuff like this is horrible. He wasnt brilliant but a reaction like this.
Yeah, pick out a minority 'pool "fan" and use it to, what, try win on an internet forum? That'll work...
Right now? UIR, you always disregard others' opinions, and always refuse to debate sensibly despite people presenting reasoned arguments to you. I'm not sure whether the fact you always believe yourself to be right is a good thing or a tragic thing. I mean, it must be awful for your genius to have to exist in a world inhabited by morons, mustn't it?
Nope just suggesting theres no need considering he very nearly did die from cancer. You lost a game, why any Liverpool fan today would hope someone dies for it is erm, beyond belief. And yes, the **** doesnt represent the vast majority but you lot have been calling United on a few idiots for the past 2 weeks.
I dont see what the fuss is. You lot are clearly upset and your judgements are being taken with a pinch just now. The red was a red, harsh yes but thats how it is now. Its happened to us before and we moaned but the reality was it was the correct decision. The penalty was soft, very soft. Wrong call for me. Suarez wasnt either, he was looking for it all game. RVP, again not a red, yellow was right. Considering the Anfield crowd going mental for every challenge in the second half the ref did ok.
Then why are you on the LIVERPOOL board? What are you expecting to hear if not our opinions while permanently camped on your board
Absolutely agree. Bolded part. Will you PLEASE stop generalising? Jesus. No wonder arguements start up every 20seconds between united and pool fans...I'm pretty sure all Liverpool fans will call that tweeter a moron, but what's that got to do with a few other fans calling United idiots? Nothing at all. Learn how to debate please without generalising.
for the record this is micks board not yours. You like me are a guest on his website. I trust you wont mention such tedious rubbish again. Also I dont care while you are all angry.
To the first bit in bold: actually, they both are. Neither has control of themselves. To the second bit: it's easy to make claims based on a hypothetical scenario. I'm not alone in thinking that you'd be on here saying it wasn't a red and refusing to give an inch, such is the way of a bigot. I've said Shelvey's was a red. But so was Evans'. The fact you use 'when have two players been sent off for the same challenge?' as an argument is laughable. You think it should just be top trumps when it comes to sending one or the other off? If two players come in recklessly, as both did today, they should be punished accordingly. Being tackled badly doesn't and shouldn't negate your own poorly executed challenge. Only one was given red because of the way referees operate, not because it's the correct decision or that it says in the rules only one can be sent off. When two players have an altercation, quite often they both see red. A challenge should be no different.
