Is that wrong, the 2 seconds he was airborne suggest its not wrong.

 

watch the gif and watch Evans go to side foot the ball.

Then watch as Shelvey flies through the air and plants his foot on Evans leg.

Then see what he said about it after the game. Basically he would do it again. Suggests intent doesnt it

No it is not stipulated in the rule book, that is all I am saying I have provided you with the documents and after reading them you realised it does not mention 2 foot tackles. I agree that referees are supposed to send players off for it, however you stipulated it was in the law of the game, it isn't. Unlucky
