Sent to the stands and getting beat should mean Steve Bruce will not be Manager of the Month. #nokissofdeath

It was a good thing getting sent to the stands. Much like your hockey captain dropping the gloves at the end of the game and getting sent off. It will have benefits.

How ridiculus was that whole thing?

Lino gives the ball out very harshly, Bruce kicks off so they send him to the stand and there's a 5-minute delay while they find him a suitable seat, for some reason the game couldn't carry on all this time.

You sure they were girls? I once saw a guy on our team break a dudes jaw with a single punch. Zendick a few years back had his jugular vein slit with a hockey skate and they had to put their fingers in his throat to stop him from dieing. It is really not a wimpy sport.

Of course it can just desend into a bunch of dudes trying to beat eachother up on ice skates.

You have Ice Hockey. We do too - but the main game is hockey on grass.

they definitely didn't have skates on, the wheels would have got stuck in the turf. alot of them played netball as well. i could have sworn they were girls in pleated skirts and head bands

you ll also find that the contemporary girls game is called sahcarr, whilst the 'guys', or blokes or men as we tend to call em, play association football

Back to the original question, I would say the most important thing to learn is that there will have been a lot of managers at that game today and they have seen how we utilise the 3-5-2 system. Today we were beaten by a side who exploited it. We may have to revise the use of it somewhat. Im not sure we should play it at aways games. I would revert to 4-4-2 for these games as we will be pressurised more at away games. It doesnt mean that we dont attack though and we can still break quickly using 4-4-2.

It wasn't the system that didn't work today at all in my view. Me and those around us just thought that the midfield was shocking and they where. Evans was pretty poor to, just looked like a poor mans Oli at times. Oli when he came on gave us some control and Prossy nearly grabbed us an undeserved equaliser. Apart from that we where poor, they had more energy and things just didn't seem to click.

On the Bruce thing, why did they have to send him down the tunnel really? What trouble was he really causing in the seat he was in?

Biggest positive from today is that we won't have to go that bland ****hole again any time soon.

A wild night of Chris De Burgh remixes and 'Terry and June' DVDs await for the Fox Army.
