Not impressed, but we should give him time. Should be in the reserves though until he earns a place in the first eleven.

suso looks very promising but the wrong game to start him in, and it cost us, poor decision.

I thought we should have put Hendo on instaed of Suso to replace Borini, but tbf he was instrumental in setting up Gerrard's goal. Don't blame him for the wayward pass that set up their pen though. Firstly, Johnners and Agger should have creamed Valencia, and secondly it wasn't a pen.

Borini looked alright. He is only 21 and still settling in.

He should maybe be on the bench though. With Assaidi starting.

He didn't start? He looked good and sharp on the pitch. As for Borini, he looked good today, not a waste at all. He had intelligent movement and a shot, as well as that great link up with Allen. Why are people blaming him for lack of goals? Today for example Borini crossed sharply once or twice only for no one to be in the box. Again.

People on here need some one to blame, and as Downing didnt play, they chose Borini.

    Borini did fine.

'People' implies plural. I wasn't blaming him, though I maintain that there are others ahead of him for first team places.

Borini isn't bad at all, most of his chances have been on target or very close. Look at Suarez when he had chances in the box, he was worse than Borini.

I thought Borini played well, had some nice touches and link ups, made some good runs and was often in dangerous positions...

Bit harsh to say he was ****

Borini should be played through the centre with Suarez out wide, Borini is a finisher, whereas Suarez plays across the line better than most.

I'd like to seen Assaidi start next week.

    Either.

    Suarez-------------Assaidi
    -----------Borini-------------

    or

    Downing-----------Assaidi
    ------------Suarez----------

Wide men cutting in onto there stronger feet.

Borini is a finisher, lol, i'm aware it's early days but i must have watched a different game to everyone else, and as for suso starting, i meant his first game not from the beginning. Why are people trying to talk as if everything is gonna be ok?

Borini's basically another Kuyt, except without the dutchman's aerial ability. Hard worker with good movement, but he's not a finisher

If we had a targetman in front of Borini Suarez and Sterling today then we would have won
