Some people do holiday far into the future, on the FM forums I use someone has gone over a 1000 years into the future, I'll find the link for anyone interested. As for actually playing, I don't make it past a few seasons. I play very slowly and not all that often.

EDIT: Wow he's got a lot further than the last time I checked, he's got to 4865 before he's had to stop due to the game being too unstable and crash dumping.

In 2800 years time I doubt half the countries where those teams come from will still exist.

Furthest for me is 2024/25, but I have seen people holiday 1 or 2 thousand years into the game.

See that's why I play LLM.
Start out at the bottom & working your way up without cheating then make sure you have lots of world leagues on so you can always switch continents/countries when you're bored of that country.
Made even better with the league reputation system now so you could make Japan have the best league in the world!

Got to 2035/36 season with Hearts but then my save file became corrupted. :(

It got to the stage where my board were 'disappointed' when I went out of the Champions League in the quarter finals, so much pressure!

A typical season would be winning the league, winning a domestic cup and getting to a European final and the board would be just 'satisfied'! <yikes>

Annoyingly, the local council kept blocking my request to expand the stadium beyond 37,500 which was daft considering at this stage Celtic and Rangers grounds both held around 80,000! Even Aberdeen managed to get theirs up to 28,000!

What the ****, the Icelandic league?!

Thats what I like about FM11, on the older ones the 'big leagues' were always going to be. On this one that can change <ok>.

Just by chance one of their clubs will have had a billionaire takeover, who would have made them into a superpower in Europe (and greatly improved their training and youth facilities, helping Icelandic players), raising the reputation of the league so that better players would come, then more takeovers occurred and the cycle kept going until it became the second biggest league in the world, and if the game could keep going it looked set to overtake England. It's basically the dynamic reputation system they added to 11 being used powerfully, albeit over a few millennia...

Don't worry I got them back for you, I beat them 5-1 Ireland and Gamiero both got doubles, think Barton got the other.
