That was my Dad's favourite song, played it at his funeral along with The Air That I Breathe by The Hollies. It is truly a beautiful piece of music, gets me going every time I hear it, good call mate
Gary Brooker said that his organ improvisation was a bit of an accident. He was just fiddling and experimenting trying to copy Jacques Loussier. Not a bad accident eh?
Going down nicely with a rather fine Burgundy: The brilliant Jeff Beck with the lovely Imogen Heap
Great version of a great song. Used in the movie Powder Blue. Have some Imogen Heap stuff. Very versatile. Is this the Ronnie Scott's series?

Tame Impala-Elephant As the Aussies seeing to be dominating this weekend, I'm giving their bands a listen
Great programme on Radio 2. Started at 8pm tonight. All about Andre Previn, called All the Right Notes. Some great jazz piano playing.
Apparently, they discuss that in the next episode skipper. That still remains my favourite Morecombe and Wise moment
Re-watching 'The Sopranos' This was playing during the closing credits after Jackie Aprile Sr.'s funeral. Quite moving, I miss Jackie...(it's real. right?)
I've just spent the last couple of years watching the Sopranos, I missed it first time round. Great series and the soundtrack to it is probably the best, in total, for any movie or TV series. Right from the opening music by the British band Alabama3. "You woke up this morning Got yourself a gun, Mama always said you'd be The Chosen One." Brilliant.
Great opening isn't it Redruth? (Didn't know they were a British band) Wonderful series, I watch it over and over, soundtrack is awesome, this, for instance, is just a sample:
