ST - I said FACT!! I know this is true. Ok, so, I worked with a guy years ago, he was a cracking guy, some laugh, the only drawback was that he was a rabid Tim, and he was from Shotts too, which he seemed to revel in, being in the minority. Anyway, he told me a great story about how he was BEST pals with Hugh Dallas growing up and even brought into work some pictures of the two of them together. C/W mullets Dallas looked like a right ****y ****, I asked my ex-work mate if he ever sooked Dallas off, but he never gave me a straight answer. So, all the Tims in work were convinced that Dallas was a Rangers man, to which our work-mate obviously said he wasn't, and that he was a Motherwell fan. This is the best part of the story though, my ex-workmate and Dallas BOTH went to do the referees course together, my work mate passed and Dallas failed it the first time (According to him anyway) I saw Dallas and Willie Young at a old school refurb a few years later, and I asked him if that was true, and he denied it, but he was 'asking' for my old workmate. And here is another peice of evidence to where Dallas' loyalties lie. Up until a couple of years ago, it was tradition for Scottish refs to referee their final game at their teams game. What was Dallas' final game? Motherwell v Celtic (helicopter Sunday) How's that conspiracy now?
Hugh Dallas lost any credibility as a Referee the day he gave Rangers a penalty for hee haw just to get back at Celtic. The man is a grade A fanny.
