Best Ref of his generation is hardly a glowing endorsement even if one agreed. One does not.

    Who was better then?

FIFA obviously rated him highly enough to make him 4th official at the WC final, and he'd probably got the final if it wasn't for the baldy Italian ref having to retire. 4th official is the sub-ref too.

And Chick Young's a St Mirren fan and Jim Traynor's an Airdrie fan and Dougie Donnelly's a Clyde fan...

Anyone would think Old Firm supporters were banned from being referees/journalists/TV presenters etc. in this country (apart from Jim White who makes no bones about being a blue-nosed Hun bastard!)

ST - I said FACT!! I know this is true.

Ok, so, I worked with a guy years ago, he was a cracking guy, some laugh, the only drawback was that he was a rabid Tim, and he was from Shotts too, which he seemed to revel in, being in the minority.

Anyway, he told me a great story about how he was BEST pals with Hugh Dallas growing up and even brought into work some pictures of the two of them together. C/W mullets <laugh> Dallas looked like a right ****y ****, I asked my ex-work mate if he ever sooked Dallas off, but he never gave me a straight answer.

So, all the Tims in work were convinced that Dallas was a Rangers man, to which our work-mate obviously said he wasn't, and that he was a Motherwell fan.

This is the best part of the story though, my ex-workmate and Dallas BOTH went to do the referees course together, my work mate passed and Dallas failed it the first time <laugh> <laugh> (According to him anyway)

I saw Dallas and Willie Young at a old school refurb a few years later, and I asked him if that was true, and he denied it, but he was 'asking' for my old workmate.

And here is another peice of evidence to where Dallas' loyalties lie.

Up until a couple of years ago, it was tradition for Scottish refs to referee their final game at their teams game.

    What was Dallas' final game?

    Motherwell v Celtic (helicopter Sunday)

    How's that conspiracy now?

Hugh Dallas lost any credibility as a Referee the day he gave Rangers a penalty for hee haw just to get back at Celtic.

The man is a grade A fanny.

    When?

    At the Celtic SHAME GAME?

The game when 3 CELTIC fans invaded the pitch to attack Dallas? The game where he was pelted with all sorts from TGFITW?

The one where Riseth barged Albertz in the box and he gave a pentaly?

IT was a 50/50 penatly, some you get, some you don't - just like Stokes on Sunday and Broadfoot at the start of the season.

No one "attacked" Dallas, (least of all 3 Celtic fans on the pitch) he was hit by a coin.

By doing what? Whispering in his ear?

3 different Celtic fans tried to "GET TO" Dallas, to do what? Ask him a question?

    No he's not! He's a Motherwell fan.

Why would his best mate growing up, and staunch Sellick man lie to me and his fellow Celtic fans?
