Over 27% of voters think we shouldn't offer any discounted tickets? Have the brain dead children from Facebook started posting on here?
was it the same queue you had to join to get a voucher for school gear at clothing house on hessle road , i remember the free dinner palarva at boulevard jhs , im sure there was a public shaming of sorts after the register was taken by the teacher for the kids who needed free dinners .
Think it would be wrong for a season pass holder to prefer to have less people in the stadium if it means that they are among the elite who can afford to regularly go to games at the more expensive rate. If it doesn't affect them or their season pass value, why would they prefer to have less people in the stadium?
I dunno if you've noticed but the thread title and the poll title ask completely opposite questions. Dutch has alrweady admitted that it confused him and resulted in him voting for the wrong option. I doubt he's the only one.
IMO, i dont care if the club does lower match day prices to get the empty seats filled. People who do are very short sighted. But after giving it further thought only for those who are an OAP - unEmployed. Sell them tickets for no more that £10. I bet many of us know people who are unemployed who cannot go as they have no money but would be able to find a tenner every 2 weeks. Its time for all football clubs to do more for these types of people. Many unEmployed people have had no choice sadly and football becomes a No No. Maybe a few kids for a quid matches as well for kids under12 yrs of age.
I thought there was a way of seeing who'd voted? As well as us thick bastards, I suspect some gypsies have traveled from other boards to leave their rubbish.
You can't say this about gypsies, it's not correct. Some gypsy families never leave a mess on their travells they take everything, it's in their blood, they devote their lives to taking wallets, lead from church roofs, you name it they will take it with them.
I don't mind at all as the reason I got a season pass was because it would just cost too much to buy a ticket for each game. For years and years I took an interest in Hull City, watching out for the results etc but never went to any games for various reasons then the firm my husband worked for bought some tickets so that he could take customers to the games. If anyone dropped out at last minute he used to take me instead and that is how I got really into watching City to the extent that when he no longer worked for the company I just wanted to keep going so we used to buy tickets for each game and then progressed onto season passes. The reduced tickets or even free tickets could get a whole lot of other people hooked in the same way. I really hope I don't get any abuse from the "how can you be a true supporter if you didn't go to the games when they were in the bottom divisions etc" Everyone starts somewhere.
I played in teams run by both Fred and Norman, like you say both top blokes. I still see Norman, he doesnt look much different.
The person who makes the poll has to select an option to make the poll public for us to be able to see who'd voted.
