Kagawa especially, we saw what Cazorla did to us, Kagawa can do the same. As long as Carra isn't playing or marking RvP then we should be ok! lol.

The way Liverpool have defended thus far this season I really can't see you handling Kagawa and Van Persie.

Steve Clarke is looking a massive loss in that department.

Yeah, I think Kagawa, van Persie and Valenica (should he turn up!) are the danger men. If we keep them quiet we just have to score. Easier said than done at the moment, though...

We arguably handled better against City. Hopefully we can erect the same barricades. ;)

And you still conceded two goals. (Stupid mistakes or not, it was still poor defending).

Your avatar is sitting on my Fantasy prem bench. Really bad decision to drop him instead of Michu. <doh>

You lot are looking a really solid TEAM at the moment, if no one leaves you could very well be up challenging for fourth.

Lol, you're lucky you only missed out on an assist today then ;)

I'd be happy with Europa mate :)

Personally, I hope it's a draw tomorrow, your lot stay where you belong (here fishy fishy <laugh> ) at the bottom of the league and I think we'll be on the same points as United <ok>

P.s. is BR still persisting with Suarez down the middle and Borini out wide?

P.p.s.What was going on with Borini's hair against Young Boys?

True. But you conceded the same against a worse team (Newcastle). Everton look solid at the moment, and I wish them all the best, but the end of the season is a long way off.

Yes but we've also kept 2 clean sheets in the league in the process, including the team you play tomorrow ;) , Haven't you conceded in every game?

Well we look better than you anyway! you're right though, we'll see where both teams stand after 38 games <ok>

Yes, we've conceded in every game so far. Can't argue with that. However, we've had a much harder start to the season. Played the champions and are about to play the second best premiership team (last season) tomorrow. I think by the end of the season we'll be (like last season) very close to each other in the table. I've predicted us to be 7th or (maybe) a touch higher this year. Can Everton finish higher? Certainly. Will they? I hope not. But they might. <ok>

To be fair though, after how much support and show of respect from Everton during the past week, I really wouldn't mind it, especially over Tottenham those ****s. Ya but If cabaye doesn't play pienaar comes back in. <ok>

I know that sounds weird with you being the local rival but Moyes is good manager and if he can get top 4 with limited funds then it gives hope for all now doesn't it?

seems I am on a different thinking than CCC lol. Just wouldn't mind seeing Tottenham struggle, Arsenal to come join us as well and see how it feels to slip up and how loyal players can ( or can't) be.

Not at all Bluff. If I could chose one team to put above us (had to, that is), it'd be Everton all day long. Have a lot of Everton friends from childhood, and they'd say the same - but would need more than a push to admit it. All I was saying is that I'd rather be above them ... and all the other teams. Surely no dispute there?

Arsesnal have started okay, but I think they'll tail off later. I don't think Chelsea will do as well as people are saying, and Tottenham will have a relatively bad season this year, I think.

I want us to get relegated! best chance for a title we would have in years! <laugh>

I just think that once again we have missed a trick with teams not doing that great and we are missing that poacher and are now leaking goals. It just seems right there for us to get back to fourth and we just haven't got the players or have spent on the right players.

Maybe. When we seem solid at the back, we have no attack; and when we have no defense we have no attack either. If we could sign two strikers we'd challenge, I think. Roll on January. Just treading water until then, I'd say.

If we sign Llorente and Isco in January I would absolutely, 100%, put a stamp on it, put a fork in it, etc would just cream myself! <laugh>

Lol. Isco certainly shows potential. <ok>

The move for Llorente (should it happen) doesn't make sense to me, though. He seems like the Spanish version of Carroll. They are a similar type of player: both big-unit target men. Admittedly, Llorente has a much better touch and scoring record, but then he is 4-5 years older than Andy. I'm not saying I wouldn't like him here, I just don't understand the reason for (possibly) acquiring him, if Carroll was sold because he 'doesn't fit' our team's playing style under BR. :emoticon-0138-think

Isco would be really good. I also think we should offer Arsenal an £8 million ''take it or leave it'' bid for Theo Walcott. Its either that or we approach him ourselves and get him to sign a pre-contract agreement, and Arsenal get nothing.

Yeah, providing he isn't asking for silly money, Walcott would be a BR-type signing. Pace to burn, but his finishing...? If we could get him scoring he'd be a really good acquisition.

Personally, I just want some clinical goal-poachers brought in asap. <ok>

Game day. Getting a bit nervous now. Anyone running a book on who's going to be sent off today? Vidic or Gerrard have to be the favourites, surely? If he does get sent off, hopefully Gerrard can score first, as that means I get some points in the prediction league. <cool>

    Nervous and excited.

This is the biggest game of the English football season. Liverpool vs United at Anfield. Let's ****ing beat them.

EDIT The rumours for Jan are of Llorente right now. I'd take him in a flash.
