The guy scored some fabulous goals in the first half of the season until newcastle got Cisse in. Then role changed so that he created more chances rather than being on the end of them. If he was injury prone, he hasn't been for some time now. He wants to play and wants to score goals. Has lived in London and I reckon that if Flavio hadn't been so keen on maximising his return on the basis of a quick departure, we would have got him last Summer. he wouldn't have had to move, would have stayed in the Prem with a better london team than the one he was leaving. Instead Flavio splashed the cash on a train fare to get betty to london to sign on a free transfer. £7m is a snip. I think he scored more goals in the prem tlast Autumn than Bobby zamora has in several seasons.
No, we cant even fit Cisse into the team. We need a target man and not Ba. Theres no point signing him if we cant fit him into the team. I also think he has dodgy knees so would struggle to pass a medical.
He could pass a medical at Rangers even if somebody had sledgehammered his knees Stevie ****ing Wonder would make a better medical officer than the muppet we've got
I dont think weve signed anyone whos injured under Hughes, we were awful in that regard under NW, Hulse being a prime example. Hughes problem was signing injury prone players who just happened to be fit at that point, eg Johnson and Dyer.
I think we may be about to make a new signing as this bloke was seen having a medical earlier on tonight please log in to view this image
I think Colin sign Dyer when he was "fit", though hadn't played in 4 years. He started our first PL game but got injured after 3 minutes. Then Hughes gave him another years contract was he was still out injured.
