Steve Bruce took 10 points from his last 12 games at Sunderland yet Martin O'neill has only taken 9 points from his last 12 games and is w*anked over by alot of Mackems. Similar thing with Elmo, most of them dont rate him yet hes been quality for us and think most of us would have him on a perm basis in a heart beat, funny old world eh!!!

Just got to hope Sunderland leave us alone this season and don't come calling wanting their property back early.

Harder league to be fair, and they're not doing to badly this season.

Although, their fans need to lower their expectations, like the Mackem on here the other night, who thought Sessignon was worth a place in a top 4 team.

Sunderland fans never liked bruce because he's a Geordie FACT.

It would be like us having a manager who's mums German, dads Argentinian and grandparents are from Scunthorpe, Leeds and cleckeaton.

He's on a long term loan, so they definitely can't recall him to play him before January. When it gets to January they can only recall him if either they have a recall clause and want him for their own squad, or if they're going to sell him. If they're going to sell him they can only sell him to a club that plays in a country where the season runs January-December rather than July-June like it does here.

I dont think we have to worry about a recall. Elmo said in a recent interview that it was a season long loan with a view to a permanant deal in the summer. Unless a recall clause was inserted then Sunderland dont have a chance of getting him back. Then again will MON still be the manager come January ? MON is prone to quitting when things dont go his way.

Dont think they can can they? It is a season long loan with a option to buy and I dont think the parent club can exercise a return. I think only City can send him back which we are obviously not going
