The defense as a whole has looked far more stable with the Clyne/Richardson pairing, as well. Amazing how much more aggressive you can be going forward when you aren't going to pieces at the back.

I hope Richardson starts against Everton. He makes me feel comfortable.

Indeed. I wasn't sure about Clyne on the left initially, but he did excellent work there as well. Also makes it a bit easier for him to go forward when his opposite number is randomly wandering inside.

Also: Rickie Lambert, joint top scorer in the Prem.

Clyne was outstanding today. Man of the match for me, and he had some pretty stiff competition.

Richardson is a pretty damn good RB. I think he's been unlucky not to start so far. Clyne is very good though.

If you had Lambert playing till the end against Moanure, you would have beaten them comfortably..

note to your manager - leave Lambert on unless he is injured or something..

I thought he had a poor first half. I'd give MOTM to Ramirez or Lambert.

Absolutely brilliant, thought we could do it today, subs sounded useful too. Have too agree regards Richardson, solid, safe player, and we know he can provide assists too. Ramirez sounds like he'll just grow into the team, all great stuff. well done Saints.

Has to be Ramirez MOTM for me, absolutely incredible, didn't do anything wrong, even in the first half Lambert made some stray passes, thought Davis and Schneiderlin bossed the midfield, Clyne was superb, Yoshida + Fonte, everyone deserves a mention!
