Thats if he is ever the same player again, look at Kisnorbo after his injury. He suffered a setback, not sure when he is back!
Kissa was always a mediocre championship player. Thats why he got offloaded from Leicester. He's quality at League 1 mind! Somma doesn't need pace, his game is more about anticipation and finishing, and with Diouf dropping deep and having a good pass it could work good!
I'm not convinced by that. Always thought he would be terrible in this division due to the mistakes he made (and got away with) in league one. He's what that division needs, a player to put his head anywhere. This division needs smarter defenders.
Kisnorbo, like Somma hopefully, still has a job to do. If Peltier is not available on Tuesday, that gives us Pearce + Kisnorbo as CB pairing with Lees at LB.
Fingers crossed, but a weakened defence against a rejuvenated Everton front line doesn't sound too fun.
Fantastic win. Breathing space till we get the dish to continue the team rebuilding. At least, there's never more than a goal in any of our games with this team. The thrashings seem to be a thing of the past
Fair point Joicy. But we're not expected to win. So we can give squad players a game to keep their ftness levels up, whilst resting a few of the starting XI who aren't currently injured.
Diouf has been the revaluation I thought he would be, I rate him so highly in this league, more so than Snoddy! Along with Austin and Byram our season has seen the emergence of new heros.
