It's the second away game in the space of 5 days for Charlton as they travel to Portman Road to take on Paul Jewells Ipswich town. Charlton went down 3-2 to Derby on Tuesday night. The Charlton goalscorers where Green and Kermogant. Ipswich took on Wolves in midweek and lost 2-0 at home. Ipswich are yet to win at home this season and Charlton away so it looks like a draw could be on the cards.

    Top Three Goalscorers-

    2 Kermogant - 2 Chopra
    1 Wright-Phillips - 1 Chambers
    1 Cort - 1 Cresswell

    Team against Ipswich Town

    Hamer

    Wilson Morrison Cort Solly

    Green Stephens Jackson Kerkar

    Wright-Phillips Fuller

    Subs
    Button
    Dervite
    Evina
    Hollands
    Pritchard
    Haynes
    Wagstaff

We currently sit 22nd with Ipswich 23rd with the only think separating the two teams being goal difference. As i said earlier Ipswich are yet to win at home so we can definitely get something from this game. Fuller gets his first start today so hopefully he will show us his true quality and be the difference between the two teams!

My prediction 2-1 Charlton (fuller 2 and Lee Martin for Ipswich)

    About bloody time too!!!!!;););)

More hopeful now that we have picked a sensible team. Where is everybody? Deserted on here. Can't believe they've all forked out 40 quid for a ticket.

Kermorgant injured in training apparently. I think it could be a tight one but I'll be optomistic and say 2-1 Charlton with a nervy finish.

Absolutely estatic about our starting line up at the front. So much so I may have jinxed us. Just put a bit of money on us, and cannot recall last time i did that and won. Sorry lads.

    3-1 Charlton. Yes, 3-1

I think you will find that is a very convenient "diplomatic" injury.

Not that convenient as we don't have the option of bringing him on as a sub

We've started bright. Sounds better than what we played against Derby. Feeling Optimistic at the moment.

Kermit was at the training ground this morning with his foot in a cast, so that's three now with foot injuries Kermi, Wiggins & Taylor. Kermit picked it up at training yesterday when he kicked the sole of one of the CB shoes.

CLOSE! Cort's header at the back stick from Jackson's corner hits the sidenetting. Charlton could be two-up #itfc #cafc

#itfc penalty appeal turned down as Martin spun under Chris Solley's challenge. Would have been very fortunate to get that in my view #cafc

Lee Martin always used to go down far too easy. Even when he was playing for us! Would always look for the penalty.
