Tbh this isnt really the right place to discuss and/or promote religious or non--religious issues. It's bound to offend someone. Can we move off this subject everyone, and get back to laughing at the marooned-birds,
Occasionally, campioni, threads get diverted, and this is what has happened here, albeit very briefly. Not so long ago a thread was taken over by pet lovers, and their dogs were discussed at length. Now I don't have a dog,but didn't feel the need to complain,or indeed comment on it. It's what happens on this type of Forum, and there's nothing wrong with it. Whilst I agree that this isn't necessarily "the right place to discuss and/or promote religious or non-religious beliefs",a handful of posts pointing out the lunacy of religion and the harm it does on a World wide front shouldn't really cause any problem. If these few posts do offend, then that a says a lot more about the offended than the offender. Hopefully,no-one has been offended. However,I note that you are quite content to "offend" the followers of "the marooned-birds". Some people regard the following of a football Club as akin to religion, and perhaps you should be mindful of that.
The title of the thread is "cardiff city comedy classics", not "atheists reunited". It's off topic and it is offensive for Christians. Football banter IS different. To get back on track, when I just typed in cardiff on my phone it tried to autocorrect to "cardiac"...
"and it is offensive to Christians". Then perhaps "Christians" need to stop taking themselves so seriously and go find a sense of humour. "Football banter IS different". Different to what exactly? Come on now,I've lost count of the number of times I've heard frustrated football supporters shout out things like,"Look at that ref,who does he think he is-Jesus Christ?",or,"That ref thinks he's God Allmighty". So you see there IS a link between football banter and religion. Here endeth the lesson. ...
What gives religion the right to be offended when you criticise or even poke fun at it? Frankly I don't give a flying **** if religious people are offended or not. Take a look at the mindless illiterate mobs murdering people in the middle east over a poxy film. Demanding respect when their idiotic religion gives none - and actually calls for non-believers, homosexuals and apostates to be executed. How can you worry about offending those morons? I don't respect organised religion - I despise it in all it's forms. When religious people stop trying to ram their half-baked crap down my throat I might respect them a bit more. "Christians might find it offensive" because I suggested you take a look at some videos? Who cares? Get a ****ing grip. Vetch: You're right about Hitchens. What a loss. A formidable advocate of sense and reason that will be sorely missed. Now back to the footie - we were crap today.

As it's a top religious debate by our Jack Rabbis on here, maybe I should put an invite out for the great and illustrious 'Prophet' from the Bluebirds!! ............. Aber....................
