Nope. I just started a new Master League on PES 09 though. So much more satisfying than Fifa (you can design your own kit!).

It's a fantastic film. The only football film that can even come close is the Damned United. Though She's the Man is also quite good.

Most football films are absolutely terrible e.g. The Football Factory.

The Damned United is a great deal better than Bend It Like Beckham.

I think I would put the Damned United and Bend It Like Beckham as joint top, with She's the Man and Goal! (the first one, not seen the others but the third one sounds rubbish) in joint third.

Just changed my username back. Couldn't have the old, so had to put a hyphen in to make it work.

Anyone else changing their Gaston based names, or sticking to it?

You've obviously all forgotten about Mean Machine, the best football film ever made. Only Shoalin Soccer comes close.

    The Arsenal Stadium Mystery.

This must have been what inspired Harry Enfield. There is a very clever link between scenes, George Allison, playing himself rings for Scotland yard and just as he begins to ask the operator for Whitehall (1212) before he can finish, we see the Scotland yard Constable's soft shoe society, dancing to someone shouting One two One two!

Very subtle. I wish I could find a clip showing the football but alas, there are none.

    Fever pitch was good.

There is a film being made about Robin Friday which I have high expectations for.
