From his time here, that's one of the things I noticed with NP's teams. He played at home like the away sides. The result was that teams learned and just sat back in defence trying to draw us out. It's what causes a lot of people to feel it was a boring style. In my opinion, a lot depends on how succsful our early attacks are. IF we get a goal, then you'll be pushed further up the field yourselves. If you score first, then I reckon we'll see how we cope with a defence minded counter-attacking style.
I remember the last time someone came here on good form Only 3 weeks ago. They'd just won 6-1 It's 6 games into the season, even someone as clueless as you can understand the table is lying.
Oh the table never lies even to a clueless muppet like you. We have one big advantage on sunday that Blackpool did not. The ref. is not beachball moron Jones. You had him to thank for the Blackpool win without a doubt. For the record the match ref sunday is Eddie Ilderton who we dont normally come across. He cannot be as bad a Jones was that day nor was he on monday doing the Everton v. Newcastle game.
What has the ref got to do with anything. You had the ref on your side both times last season and yet struggled to best us at your place and lost here. Your digging for excuses already
Not at all. Jones won you the Blackpool game Full Stop. The pen he gave wasnt a pen and he denied Blackpool a stone wall pen. Anyway thats gone now but the facts of that game were for all to see. As for last seasons games. @ KC Mills got sent off as per the rules. Once the ref. awarded the pen he had to go. As for ther scoreline 2-1 or 6-1 it does not matter. Hull won the 3 points on offer. End of. The game at your place i have no issues with the result. We came out and took the lead but could not hold it. Dyer should never have scored and we backed off Marshall. But the 2nd half was all you as we were on our knees. I blamed our manager Barmby for his team selection after such a hectic March as he left our left back Dawson wide open to Dyer. But again you won 2-1 and both clubs won 3 points. But thats all history now. SUNDAY is a new game and we are much much better than last season and alot more fresher. No excuses. Dont need any thank you.
Oh silly me, of course Bolton will finish top half, of course Brighton will finish 3rd, of course Charlton will be relegated, of course Peterborough won't pick up a single point all season, of course Blackburn will go the entire season unbeaten.
Interesting to see people wanting Knockaert to play in the hole- personally would love to see Marshall play there again, as, if I remember correctly, he was awesome against Hull in that position last year. We haven't seen any 30 yarders (from open play) yet...
I bet its back to 4-4-2 with Knockaert and Marshall on the wings again, with DD and James starting in the middle, would like to see Danns come on at somepoint too if King isnt fit yet.
i agree, i think he is wasted on the wing - certainly without a big man to feed (and futacs isnt the answer)
Another option for us Andy King is fit and available again. So did Matty James do enough to keep the shirt or will King come back into the side?
He's playing in the Championship FFS - He's not Messi. One thundering tackle from the irrepressible Faye will soon sort him out. We have more than enough game changers on the pitch to not have to worry about Leicester. Also Simpson and Oli will have points to prove having been overlooked by Pearson. Only players that Pearson will really know is Chester and Koren (Evans if he plays) the rest are unknown to him. Hull Win, not because it's my team. It's because I haven't seen anyone better than us in this league yet.
