Di Canio the self proclaimed nazi in the video is lauded here(even has his own BBC column), he got away with blatant racism a few months ago because the FA were satisfied with his apology.

It obviously depends who you are or play for when it comes to the FA's fight against racism, Their national team's progress takes preference over a cut and dried case of racism, just a matter of weeks now until the whitewash.

How old is the video out of interest? Quite ridiculous views by some people including the old spanish manager. We all know of Spains racist fans though the several times England have played there. Completely disagree with the American attitude of eveything is better in America in comparison at the 3.50ish mark, What about all the French and English colonies. Germany with its huge Turkish population.

Makes me worry about when we play away in Russia and Italy. Youngsters like Sterling may be targeted.

Udinese should be OK, they have the two ghanians ( I think, although I think one was sold to Juve) but could be worrisome. Anzhi has already had ( in that league) bananas thrown at Samba. But they also boast Samba and Eto'o so not sure it will happen in that game.

What I wanna know i why it racism that seems to be the most important types of descrimantion

The FA and powers that be are being "descrimantory" by not pushing anti sexism/homophobia/religious persecution as much as they seem to be pushing anti racism

    Sex - not a choice
sexual preference - not a choice
    race - not a choice

believing in some make believe fantasy story - a choice.

Religion should never ever ever be included amongst the above. Why the suggestion is constantly made. Why should a choice like religion be given the protection that things we have no choice in do?

To get racism out of football punishing John Terry to the extreme would be a great starting point. If player thought the FA's golden **** could be punished so harshly then they would think twice about resorting to race in order to score points.

Wont happen though, he'll probably win an award for his work fighting racism aswell as father of the year to his 784 kids.

Leave Sterling out of this... <whistle>

    <laugh>

What will have to happen is fans can't travel, teams get banned, etc.

Did you know that those who whole heartedly deny the truth in any form of religipon are as misguided and arrogant as those who put all faith in religion.

How any man can be arrogant enough to claim there is or isnt a God or that the world was created without any purpose is beyond me. Everyone is entitled to an opinion on religion, but it does my head in when people claim to know that there is or isnt...because people dont have a clue....they just put too much faith in their own opinions..

    Rant over..my apologies

Something that has such influence on people and the world is a very very dangerous thing. It doesnt take a genius to realise what religion really is and why it exists. The modern day version would be government. The modern day teachings would be science.

Wont carry on as this isnt the thread for it but I will say religion is the worst thing mankind has ever created bar none.

You could also argue that religion gives a sense of moral decency, of community and of belonging. things that are always needed to live a contented life.

Religion is not a bad thing.....It has just been abused as a tool by bad people, exactly the same as government.

As far as science goes, I am a scientist and many of the top scientists think that divine intervention could haveplayed apart within our development in some form....

You are quite right though, this is not the place for such talk.........I just feel the urge to comment when people speak as if they know how it all happenned and how it all is.....But you are a Man utd fan so its to be expected really...lol

Why you think there has to be a purpose is beyond me. And does your God ban apostrophes? Because that does my head in

Life has a spiritual side - Carl Sagan said he heard his dead parents' voices, even though he knew it was his grief, not some ectoplasmic entities wondering around upstairs - but that does not demand purpose, nor does it demand the pseudo-science all religions have. Reincarnation, Mr. Dalai Lama? Why? Isn't having respect for your fellow human beings enough to ask for? And they say the Scientologists are cuckoo.

Science acknowledges what it doesn't know. Religions insist they do know. What I do know is that kind of arrogance does my head in.
