The Green thing amuses me particularly the reactions from opposing fans. I've read all sorts of posts about how Rangers "died" because nobody stood up for them and now when Green does so he is pillaried as some kind of village idiot. Okay a lot of it is pure street theatre, but it's working he's selling tickets. Fair enough he will sell the club on at a profit. He's stated that was his intention since the start. He's a businessman who knows how to work the media so what? So is Lowell across the road, Ghodfather of Scottish football? Aye right! Bob Hoskin's bit at the end of The Long Good Friday springs to mind when talking to the Mafia boss. The point I'm trying to make here is that the guys in power at the big two clubs know their purpose and audience. I actually don't think Celtic wanted us out of the SPL. To be honest I'm past caring about it, but it is kind of funny reading the mock indignation Charlie inspires everytime he opens his gob. He's like Brian Clough on crack I like Charles Green.
