as i have had such a good day today i thought it was time to have a laugh and put up on here a poll for the blues player of the season,in my opinion it is not in doubt who is gonna win but here it goes.
Can only be Nikki Bull. The others you've listed have all had very good seasons, but no one has come any where near to having the same kind of influence on our season than Bull.
I put Rendell as he has overcome injury, moronic fans and family problems and has been by far our best striker this season, with a very respectable goals/ games ratio. If I could vote twice I would have put Bull, the man is a legend.
No nominations for Alan Bennett?? SHAME ON YOU ALL!! LOL!! The name and number on the winners shirt explains all............BULL 1
As things stand and maybe at the end of the season, there can only be one winner. The linesman who gave Ainsworth the "goal" that wasn't at Shrewsbury. It is not sufficient to say he was inefficient. He was, purely and simply, a liar. The grapes around here are tasting very sour.
Still the most ridiculous decision I have seen all season, and that includes two of the penalties today!!
I'm not a Wycombe fan, but i've voted Gareth Ainsworth! Maybe slightly biased but from what i've seen he is still going strong and has scored important goals
1. Bull, 2. Beever 3. Ainsworth But actually no one gets near Bull. I would give him all 3 votes if possible. Without him we would be mid table. Referring to the other thread about his reaction on Saturday, you can see what a committed professional he is, with superb concentration. Making that great penalty save must feel like scoring a last minute winner to him. In my mind, he is the best keeper we have ever had. Even better than Martin.
He's got a fair way to go to beat Taylor in my opinion, but that's only because of how good Taylor was and is not a slight on Bull.
i am with you wandermagic ,bully has been sensational this season but i rate taylor higher because he done it over a few seasons which goes to show how good taylor really was
I can remember singing along to "One Martin Taylor, there's only one Martin Taylor, one Martin Tay-lor, there's only one Martin Tay-ay-lor". Great memories. If we were voting for second place it would have to be Gareth Ainsworth for his commitment, inspiration and important goals, and a great role model. Hmm Should I have voted for him?
It can only be Bully! He's probably saved us more points single handedly than any keeper in recent times that i remember. Taylor was a legend also but came down the leagues to join us. Glad Bully signed another contract because he surely must be in the minds of those in League 1 and the Championship
