Now Scotland only has 1 club left in European football and the CL Group Stage at that, with only 3 opponents. That statement would be acceptable if it came from an English correspondent, who would have a considerable number of opponents to track, but King only has 3 European opponents to run his eye over. There are fans on forums who are far more aware of this than reporters in the Scottish media. We should surely be asking why our writers are so ignorant of European opposition and sometimes even clubs in our lower divisions, prior to this season, for some strange reason. These reporters are paid considerable sums of money to do a professional job. Some may have the opinion that they are amateurs, but in this case we have clear evidence of one prominent reporter admitting that he knows nothing about one of three opponents of the only Scottish club left in Europe. This is verging on incompetence in his post. He should have researched this in detail and should not be shocked by such important information on a club, which is well known throughout Europe. This type of ignorance is not something new either. I am sure we can all think of many examples of their parochial attitude to the worlds greates and best supported game. How many of us would remain in post if we were to prove as useless in our own jobs?
