Watford 3-3 BCFC - Baldock, Woolford,Albert I'm cheating here a bit manx if I'm honest. I expect a draw and don't really think it will be 3 each but this way it gives me more chance of getting the scorer if it turns out to be 1-1 (which is more like the score I'm expecting). So a tactical vote from the Devon jury!
Hi Robin unreliant- wondered when someone would spot that flaw in the rules- last season I predicted Bristol City 10 Barnsley 0 -nominating every outfield player to score...but wiz wouldn't have any of it. Neither would he accept my claim for no scorer for 5 points in a game when Bristol City didn't score v Hull I think. Perhaps I should weight the points, so that you get 10 points for predicting the exact score- which would be easier to manage than knocking points off for incorrect scorers or suchlike. what do you think.

You have 3 chances to guess the result so really 1 pt could fair for guessing the correct score eg win lose or draw 1-0, 0-1, 0-0 up to 2 goals you have 2-0, 0-2,1-1, 0-0 etc etc so 5 points reasonable 10 more like it goal scorer is manipulative, average goals in a game is around 3 throughout the season so the maximum number of players to have nominated are 3 here 5 points would be fair. Maybe a bonus of 10 points if you say BCFC 1 goal 2 goal 3 goal and get it right...............Watford 2 BCFC 2 TAYLOR STEAD you say result Watford 1 BCFC 2 stead baldock would equal = 1pt for the win 0 pt not result... 5pts stead plus bonus of 10 as BCFC SCORED 2 goals Above 3 goals ( 1 and upwards all goals count, name 3 and stead only gets 3 he gets 15 pts if you said BCFC 3 -0 correct score ETC he gets 45pts ) if one of your nominated scored 2 or more would count as a scorer with relative bonus if applicable sounds complicated but is not really Basically name 3 against Watford...(Stead Taylor Baldock)..........irrespective of forcasted score result 0 - 2 Taylor Skuse.... selection is Watford 1 - BCFC 3 Taylor Baldock stead .... so no bonus as incorrect score but 5 points for the goal scorer result 0 - 2 Taylor Skuse....selection is Watford 0 - BCFC 2 Stead Skuse ...... so skuse gets 5 pts plus bonus of 10 as city scored forcast goals with 2 names scorers result 0 - 5 Taylor2 Skuse, Baldock, Adomah..........selection is Watford 0 BCFC 3 Taylor baldock pearson...... taylor gets 10pts Baldock 5 pts no bonus wrong forcst score
