    Yes "Lower Profile"...
    He hardly got the level of coverage Downing, Caroll, Henderson or even Coates got did he?
    And nobody expected him to show more progress than Hendersn and Caroll by this stage did they?
    He cost less than £2million whilst Caroll cost £30 million.. So yes "lower profile"

    I never said he wasn't going to "turn out useful" and I already knew of him before he joined you...

    I knew what you meant and yeah one away goal is always useful but 5 is happy ****in days <ok> You could see the difference with Shelvey on, the experience of first team football and a loan spell with an attacking team has done him good. Hope to see Suso develop in a similar fashion over the next 18/24 months.

    Udinese score 91st min goal to draw 1-1 at home with Anzhi. Good result for us that. Means we've already got a 2 pt advantage in the group.

    Henderson,Shelvey and Wisdom had good games.

    disappointed by Carra,Enrique and Jones, and not sure about Downing.

    youngsters played well, with the odd mistake defensively that can be cut out (or Carra dropped), has a lot of promise.

    Downing is a good player in a team that plays the wrong system. In the same way Carroll doesn't fit, neither does Downing. You see today, and when he came on v Sunderland, he beats his man, gets to the ball and looks up with 1 player (Pacheco) in the middle to aim for. Meaning he has to cut back and lose the momentum.

    Shelvey is going to be a beast in 2 or 3 years. He reminds me of a cross between Gerrard and Yaya. Can't believe how much he's bulked up since last year. Must be on steroids!

    He's got 'it' too, from what I've seen. I think you paid £5 million for him? If so that'll be a bargain too.
