Hopefully it will be dealt with the same way as Rangers charge for sectarian singing the day after administration against Kilmarnock . Totally forgotten about , maybe in the same drawer they used for Cadette registration .
LOL offensive to zombies. Somebody send this compliance officer a copy of shaun of the dead and tell him to cheer the **** up.
I don't have a problem with mentioning Rangers. I have a problem with *****s posting ****e threads about some dude on a radio phone-in and Ibrox attendances. Boring predictable ****e.
Oh dear, just speculation I know, but hard not to think some disgruntled sevco fans - with their usual low cunning - have thought to themselves " heres an opportunity to get celtic into conflict with the sfa " and then written to the compliance officer, quoting the rulebook - which they will have checked on follow, follow/sevco media . I think this could be quite interesting.
They were moaning about it at the time. I seem to remember talk of it supporting Irish Republicanism......because the provos famously used to shoot zombies.
Actually, on reflection, I can see that banner IS quite offensive. Those destitute bastards should have been put in an unmarked paupers grave, nevermind a tombstone marking their previous existence on earth.
That is what I thought too but the original didn't have the 4 leaf clover or the RIP Huns bit on it. Trainor finds the banner offensive......The "famine song" was banter http://soundcloud.com/celticresearch/spence-jabba/s-O6mou this clip was edited out of the podcast.
Could be the compliance office is one of those crazy creationists and has taken offence to dwarnisim.
I could see how it might be offensive if it was violent in some outré way, but it's obviously meant as a joke. I don't think you could say it's inciting hatred or murderous imagery. It's a shadow outline of a soldier shooting a zombie. It's not advocating the killing of real people, it's not using religious or political imagery.
