    thanks for this.....

and you guys are calling me pessimistic for thinking we are going to be up against it tonight?

3 debuts.... one guy making his first competitve start since rafa.. henderson as DM? (won't be that way btw) a keeper nobody has confidecne in.

has to be 1-0 late goal deflected of 3 yuong boys...

morgan is just ok v hearts... i think you guys need o decide which kid you want to get the chance.... pacheco, yesil or morgan... these lads are very very lucky that we are so short of options that this is the scenario. Pacheco has this game to say soemthing about himself. yesil will come on for him but he prob hasn't a clue what anyone is saying to him right now so he's also lucky to get an early chance.

i don't think anyone would not want suso to get a go but i'd really like him to get a go alongside 8/9 senior players who can bring him through... i have a feeling that midfield 3 will be chaos as they've never kicked a ball together in anger.

I think its fairly obvious that Pacheco is on his way out, and that he's only being given this chance to either put him in the shop window or simply to being used in the harder games (away from home) so Yesil/Morgan will be eased in with easier home games where they'll see more of the ball and won't be expected to do anything with it everytime they receive it.

Exact same thoughts. Pacheco has his last chance probably, Yesil will feature, but has no pressure. Personally I don't think Morgan is anywhere good enough. We have no idea how downing-esque Assaidi is. Midfield like you say will be interesting.... AND Carragher plays, can't see it going too well.

Agreed RE Morgan. Hasn't impressed me in the slightest compared to Sterling/Suso/Yesil. Can see us losing 2-0 tonight. Carra will moan and shout at the other defenders whilst being out of position himself.

When Spurs lost in Bern two years ago, then manager Harry Redknapp was not happy with playing on the artificial pitch there.

"It's not an excuse but I played on Astroturf myself and hated every minute of it," he said at the time.

But Liverpool won't be able to wheel that excuse out tonight - as (according to a nice man at Uefa who I called up earlier) the Swiss side have gone back to grass. Au naturel.

Thanks for that, I posted earlier that they had an artificial pitch but they've obviously changed it so thats a huge boost for us and our chances.

There is Wisdom in Brendan's team today.

And seeing Suso in the lineup has a song stuck in my head...

    "Su-so, studio"

    (My apologies to Phil Collins)

Levermunchen? I thought Lever was cussing not munching.

More proof Lucas is God... he creates players just by cussing...

    Why all the negativity.......?

This is what its all about...Dani and Suso on the same pitch starting for the first 11...I am going for a 3-2 win, Suso Pacheco and Yesil...

A fair few times actually. Believe it or not some people actually take note of whats happening in football not just liverpool. Have you seen Morgan play? He can't cut the mustard. Mark my words he will be Neil Mellor M.2

Yes because if I wasn't watching Liverpool I would watch German youth football. Huge whiff of bullshit about your posts.
