Fully agree with all of the comments criticising these morons but considering racist behaviour was one of the things condemned it's amazing how much it's accepted on this forum.
Political threads are banned but it's ok to call Leicester "Gandhiville" or "Leicesterstan." Their fans are often referred to as "ragheads" or worse without concerning moderators (or a high percentage of posters.)

Ok they can roll out the "politically correct liberal" label again, but when I started watching City the racist chants were acceptable and very common. It took a lot of work from those in the game to get supporters to see sense, but now morons like the OP mentioned are the exception rather than the rule.

Zero tolerance is the only way to treat racists and we could start by condemning it on here.

Totally agree. I have had many an argument on here pointing out that Leicesteristan is racist and unaceptable and every time I have been hit with the bollocks about what 'istan' litereally means. That is irrelevant, it is being used in this context to state that Lester is highly populated by 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation Asian immigrants and that this in some way makes it worse than Hull. It is being used as an insult and that makes it racist.

Yep, I'm having that. Totally agree with the above and what Craig posted.

All this Leicesteristan stuff is cringeworthy and pathetic. Then again you expect it from some posters.

In my experience this phrase is only ever used by a racist, shortly before making a racist comment. Agree completely with the sentiment of the recent posts, the constant bickering and racist undertones often displayed on this thread are why i've moved to be a passing observer (at best) rather than active contributor, I just can't be doing with it.

I'm probably in the minority here lads but hasn't football been sanitised enough already?

I haven't heard anything really disgusting or offensive at football for years.

    Keep it real.

Maybe it's because I don't go to away games really and I sit with bunch of OAP's at home games?

Over reaction or what? How would some of you have reacted listening to Jim Davidson's Chalkie White? Or Bernard Manning? Yet they were mainstream and accepted. Ok attitudes have changed and its not acceptable now to make jokes re the colour of peoples skin or their habits and cultures etc, just in the same way Homosexuality once outlawed is now deemed to be legal and just in the same way that drug addiction single parent families and relationships outside of marriage are all not only accepted but some seemingly promoted.

How long before you are going to say labelling Newcastle as Geordie Town is racist? Leicester is getting more like Pakistan every day due to its ethnic majority.
That is not a racist statement. But a simple fact, yet a simple adding of istan to highlight this fact and it suddenly becomes racist? All the chant is doing is pointing out to the predominantly white Leicester fans that they are slowly being ousted from their hometown.
What is racist about that? Its just taking the mickey out of immigration patterns. They are being over run by Asian nationals and their descendents.

If you ask me, the bad taste stuff Leeds fans have been spouting over the years, its about time they got a taste of it themselves and had their feelings hurt for a change.
I know 2 wrongs dont make a right but, in this instance, I think I would have turned a blind eye.
I might have even joined in with the peado song. I've sang much worse in my time. Like others on this thread i grew up with chants such as Harry Roberts is our friend.
This message board does seem to be frequented by people with more female hormones who are miles more easily offended than people in real life and most of you wouldnt stand 2 minutes in the environment I work in.
    Its only banter?
I know some of the stuff is out of order but surely in a football ground amongst beered up fans the political correctness can be loosened up for a while to assist the banter/piss takes?
I really do get the impression that a lot of posters on here think that banter and the piss taking of other fans should also be stopped.
Have any of you on here ever thought of "manning up" a bit?

Tell you what - lets bring back NF marches, Klan meetings and lynchings while we're at it. These have been seen as legitimate political parties and their methods and motives accepted in the past.

Only harmsless fun innt? Bunch of fookin pansies.
