    Actually most of the polls that I have looked at seem to have the leader in blue or maybe that is the colour of that particular line. I am told all these things are preset. So do not think they can be altered. (To be honest I don't think they had that much interest to be frank)

    Fonte for me. Great contribtion to one of the best defences in the league and scored a few very useful goals.
    The team is packed with talent though, so this was a tricky decision.

    I have voted for Fonte - a close call between him and Lallana - but for me defences win leagues/promotions. Adam has been fantastic when he has been fit and he gives us something no other midfielder on the squad can do; be a playmaker.

    I agree with Romsey Saint's comments. Fonte has been the mainstay of our promotion push, consistant performances and he gives his all. In my opinion our most reliable player. He gets my vote.
    Lallana is no doubt our most skillful player, a real entertainer. But probably due to his injuries, he has been a little inconsistant in my view.

    I don't think anyone else comes close.

    Now you're confusing me. I always thought Lallana because he is the obvious outstanding player and we miss him, but Fonte has helped (with Davis etc.) to keep our defence mean. This gives midfield and strikers chance to win game. Perhaps we could arrange for them to have a fight off at end of season.

    Fonte has been superb and, although I totally agree about Lallana being our most creative and technically brilliant player, the defender has been a regular feature in the squad this season and constantly reliable. He would be my choice.

    Hammond is a really difficult player to gauge. I think he is a good player and whilst he doesn't stand out like Lallana and dominate in the midfield like Jimmy Case of old, he seems to be instrumental in many of our attacking moves. A reliable player and an essential ingredient in the squad. Harding is a player I like too and it seems strnage that Jiadi hasn't had as much of a shout on this board as i think he should. when he plays well, he is a rock in our defence and also pops up with the odd goal too. Every time I watch him play I keep thinking that I wouldn't like to be tackled by him if I was a forward - he has got to be one of the largest defenders we've ever had. Definately think Jiadi is a player that should get some credit around here!

    As the title says who is your player of the season?

    Mine is Jose Fonte,he has been immense all season and has chipped in with some vital goals! 19 clean sheets and he has played a massive massive part in that!

    Jose fonte baby,jose fonte ooooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
