Does anyone else feel that the atmosphere on here has become a little more fractious this season? That we don't quite have the patience with each other that we had last year? That we're not all pulling together in quite the same way?

Do fans have second season syndrome, do you think?

I guess it is possible that fans can suffer with SSS too. Expectations for some will have been raised off the back of last season and the slow start to the current season is hurting a little. You then of course have the others who have not raised their expectations and even those who have lowered them. With that kind of mix there is always the chance of disagreement going on, just the nature of the beast <ok>

Personally I am keeping a low profile as I am hovering somewhere between not raising my expectations to lowering them. Thankfully I have seen enough in my time to not let it bother me sufficiently enough to have a row about it.

We just need a reality check now and again. Think back to what was happening 3 or 4 yrs ago. Deep breath and relax! My expectations are same as last season. I think our team has improved albeit so has the league. We've got a good manager within a fantastic management structure and a club ahead of it's strategic plan. We're not in a bad place at all. A first victory will no doubt settle the nerves for everyone else.

The problem for me is I can't where that first win is going to come from.I can easily see us holding out for some more impressive draws, the defence looks good. But we must win some games. My personal view is that 38 points will bring safety this season but we need to aim for 8 wins minimum.Fewer than that and the number of draws required starts to look unrealistic.

Its just people having their opinions and their favourites. There has been a lot more activity this close season than the previous two so there is much more subject matter to disagree on.

Carrow road has been a but muted, we just need the smallest spark to get us going again. It's natural with a new season/manager etc.

All it's going to take is for us to get going is for someone to step forward and become this season's hero. It'll probably be Grant Holt again, although Snoddy looks a good shout.
