Can anyone recall a match we had, probably season before last? Ref gave a goal, took the ball back to kick off, then spoke with fourth official and decided not to give goal, then was going to start game from centre line, then told no you cant do that if not giving a goal, so went to do a drop ball in the goal area! It was hilarious. But trying to work out what game it was, or if it is on you tube!

One of the most baffling things I've ever seen at a football gà me, one of Powell's first games in charge.
I remember this. The lino has a button on his flag which he would press if there was an offside (as well as putting the flag up), and there is a buzzer strapped to the refs arm. Either he pressed it, or the ref thought he did, and he committed the cardinal sin of not looking before he hit the whistle.
