    That was a close game

Looks like the Chavs have given away a 2 - 0 lead as well

3 points so mission accomplished but not a convincing performance by us.

It was a bad performance, we were very sloppy, kept on giving away the ball but a good win though.

They should of had Penalties too but at the same time we should of had penalties too

but there were some positives though

    1) Fletcher's return
2)Nani even though he had a bad penalty, overall his game was good, he was unselfish, his passing was great, hopefully he plays keeps it up.
3)Some of our passing including Kakawa was very brilliant, especially the link up between Nani and Kakawa, it was really impressive
    4) We won because of De Gea's top drawer saves which he isn't getting credited by anyone, had that been Joe Hart everyone would be talking about them.

one bad thing is our penalties, thats three in a row Pen we missed, Where's Wayne Rooney when you need him.

we did miss Wayne Rooney today, his final end product was missing.

Hopefully Sir Alex goes 442 against Liverpool because Van Persie was isolated at times.

Quite harsh their sweats. He could of had a load of assists tonight as he created loads of chances. For me it was more of a case of other players being below par and not enough performing well. Kagawa was decent, defence was ok but valencia was quite poor with his crossing, scholes misplaced a few and RVP was off the pace.

Edit - I do agree Nani can be frustrating quite a lot. Tonight included.

Vidic looks like he's getting back to form, he made some important headers and his defending was good.

another positive is that our defense is looking much better then the start of the season.

He played two good passes all night.. One to Hernandez and one to someone else.. The rest of his passes were behind the intended player so no chance at all as the player had to track back to control the ball.. When he dribbles he comes in on his right foot and gives the ball away.. I'm not dazzled by the odd bit of skill he shows at all as it rarely has end product.

He is one of thee most frustrating players I've ever witnessed. I dislike him more because he struts about like he thinks he is world class and he is no where near that..

Valencia was far worse tonight. 10 crosses and all but one were ****.

Nani created 2 great chances and another 3 or 4 decent chances. He was involved in our better pieces of play. **** penalty and gave the ball away a few times but those types of players do. Messi gives the ball away more than any other La Liga player as he plays a high risk game unlike a player who plays safer. Nani is that sort of player, tries the harder pass, the through ball. Most of the time it doesnt come off but when it does if the receiving player is on the same wave length its great.

I'm not gonna pretend I'm proud of your club or glad that you won, but it's far better than those gloating, murdering Turkish ****s getting the victory.

    So... <ok>

Thing is when messi and ronaldo get caught in possession it's through a spectacar piece of defending nani gets stripped by shi te players.. Or falls over his own feet through miscontrol.. To even compare him to messi or ronaldo is an insult to them.. He is a pretender. And not a good one.. With players like ronnie his good stuff outweighed the bad by a long long way.. With nani the bad far out weighs the good..

Wasnt comparing. Just saying those sorts of players, no matter what their level are more prone to losing the ball that safer players.

He just isn't good enough. The time when the good stuff he does outweighs the bad my opinion will change. If he were that good he'd be a shoe in every game, the fact he isn't says it all..

He wasn't the worst player on the pitch but he was the most frustrating..

i think Nani's criticism is abit unfair, its mostly because he missed a penalty, i think Valencia had worse game then Nani, Nani was alright he did great few chances, Valencia was in a good crossing positions many times and on normal days we would of seen him sending in good crosses but today wasn't his day, apart from one his crossing today was really bad, at times he should of thrilled it in to the centre but he just crossed to the far post where there's no one there.

To be honest, it would of been great if Young played today, the game suited his crossing abilities.

Not sure about this... Messi may play a "high risk" game, but he plays a high risk game (which is obviously harder) at a higher standard than others play the low risk game.

He doesn't really give the ball away often from where I've been... His choice of pass and execution isn't too shabby either... He only really gives it away when he occasionally tries to take on too many people (which you can't really blame him for)
And he obviously touches the ball far, far more than your average La Liga player... So you can understand his numbers being higher. His "touch-to-givng it away" percentage would be lower than most players I'm sure.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hs6LigPl3fw&feature=related Doesn't give it away much here against Real...
And also.. Messi has end product... Just like (20 Shots: 2 goals a game) Ronaldo. When you have that much end product, being wasteful is forgiven. Unfortunately Nani has end product about once every three games.

Nani's problem is that he just runs into blind alleys.
But knowing him, he'll play a blinder versus Liverpool now that everyone's slagging him off.

I said last year that it wont be long before Nani leaves.. and it appears it wont be.

Nani is **** to the most part.. Though I've often thought he is marginally better when played on the right.

The stat is accurate. He loses it because he tries the exceptional rather than the safe pass. Safe football is boring. We all complain about how static United are and thats because too many play it safe. We need more Nani type players. We have started to go down that route with RVP and Kagawa. These are not static safe players. In time these 3, welbeck, Rooney etc will be brilliant in attack. Its already showing now between Nani and Kagawa. Some great play between them.

Last night he could of had 4 or 5 assists and a goal, hes got an assits in each of his last 2 games. Hes not at his best but is creating more than anyone. His bottom level is higher than all bar 2 or 3 players because even at his worst he can pull off that assist or that goal. Thats what great players do.

Ronaldo did it so often with us, hes not the same player he was is at Real. He was better for us, much more entertaining but also far more annoying. He could go 89 minutes doing **** all, sulk like a **** and then boom, 1-0 Ronaldo scores and we win. All hail Ronaldo ( seriously, now <ok> )

Its the same with Nani. Hes not at their level, nobody is. He ****s on Young and is better than Valencia. Valencia has out performed Nani once in his time here and that was by 1 assist in 1 game more.

I couldn't give a **** about his stats.. He is not anywhere near as good as he thinks he is.. His decision making is wrong 9 out of ten times. He runs into blind alleys.. He loses possession and we get hit on the break.. His assists for the opposing team far outweigh his assists to us.. We got hit on the break so many times last night, the Turks moved the ball quickly an were having a shot when nani was still hitting the floor at not being given the foul.

With Valencia he gets back an tackles when he loses possession an quite often wins it back. If nani played for anyone else you'd say he was **** because he is ****. . Listening to every united fan that called in talk sport today all think he is shi t every pundit said the same.

On the biggest United website going hes getting praised and has been voted as runner up in the MOTM threads.

Hes a player who splits opinions massively.

Scholes gave the ball away more than anyone last night, followed by Valencia. Nani gave it away rarely.
