I didn't agree with the season pass price hike but perhaps this was inevitable after a few years with little or no increase. Timing - recession - post PL blues ( for the plastics at least) - NP boring tactics etc etc have all had an affect so far.

That said I am sure the Allams have done the maths - probably lost a couple of thousand supporters' from last season but may not be losing out financially - the conundrum is how to get these misguided souls back whilst at the same time not pissing off those that have renewed season passes..

I can see half season passes if we are flying at Xmas...

Should pull a few back in if we keep up the good work. They may have lost their seats, though, and might not be happy with the replacements (which are bound to be in less desirable parts of the stands).

Probably but need to act now rather than let half the season go by - personally I don't think any tickets should be priced above £20 at NPC level.

From a recent survey a large percentage of those questioned said football was pricing itself out of the reach of many more supporters and that a significant percentage wouldn't be renewing their season passes - I think you can see that with nearly every Club in the NPC so far this season with the exception of Brighton.

"Afterall it's only money" goes down as one of the worst quotes ever..

I really hope this is out of context because some people don't see it like that..

When I originally signed up, the Premier Club membership gave you a great seat, a parking space just outside the entrance, access to a bar and restaurant, gig tickets and priority for away tickets.

Unfortunately, when we got promoted Duffen scrapped the priority away tickets and only gigs arranged by the SMC were included, so didn't include stuff like The Who.

For me personally, I had a son at a school that had lessons six days a week, he finished school at 2.00pm on a Saturday, over 30 miles from the KC. Without the executive car park pass, I'd have missed the kick off for most of our home games for the past ten years(he's sixth form now, so it's not such an issue).

or maybe the Allams just want to own the stadium and feel they can put political pressure on the council through SMC pricing policy somehow

No, they said long term they'd look to not that they definitely would. I think PL TV money was part of the requirements.

I'd be interested to see how much of the drop in attendance is people from the South Stand last season. There's people who prefer the view from behind a goal and North Stand isn't really an option unless they've done something about the segregation "issue" when Leeds and the like come to town. Equally the idea of being told that I can either stay where I am and be sat right in amongst the family stand, or I can move to a more expensive part of the ground wouldn't encourage me all that much.

depending on which league we are playing in next season, i think it could be less. as i am paying around £800 for two in the seats, its not much more to find

The single biggest mistake for me.

No more tickets for ex players(that now includes Deano and Ash), no more tickets for our scouts, no more tickets for youth team players, no free tickets for anyone at all.

If the ground was full, I could understand it, but while attendances are poor, I simply don't get it.

I agree with free tickets for youth team players, buy an adult get a kid in for free, kids for a quid and all that, but ex players? Give me a break. They earned enough money while at the club and even Deano's working in media for Sky, so if they actually want to go watch us, the least they can do is pay. If they don't go because its not free, it's clearly not important to them. The club doesn't owe them owt now either especially free hospitality in the West Stand.

Our scouts? You'll have to explain that one to me, aren't they meant to be at other games, scouting and stuff??

I don't give a **** how much money the ex-players have got, it's not about the money, our captain through four leagues, a player who gave his all for the club for nine years and we can't find him a seat in a half empty stadium? It's ridiculous, imagine Man United telling Bobby Charlton, '**** off mate, you'll have to buy a ticket'.

We have a team of volunteer scouts who watch the youth Sunday League games to spot young talent and recommend the lads to the club(most of them manage kids teams themselves), they used to get a pair of tickets each game for their efforts, then it was one, now it's none.
