I see there are loads of seats yet to be sold. Watching good standard (hopefully!) footie between two Prem teams for a tenner if you are a ST holder seems like too good an offer to pass up. The last game against MK Dons was entertaining.

Not many odds available for this yet but the one I found had us at 6/5 and Reading at 2, perhaps not surprisingly.

I think the psychology of this game is important and I wonder if Reading have a slight edge. They are the new boys and if they lose, they can chalk it off to that. We have one year experience over them and are expected to win so the pressure may be on us.

More importantly, both teams are still hunting their first win in the Premier League and the confidence from a cup ru
n will no doubt help with that.

Obviously this is not the proverbial 'must win' game but I think it would help the cause considerably if we did.

    COYRss!

I agree RTID. As far as I am concerned, two premierships teams who I expect will field strong teams should be a good encounter. For £10 or even £15, it's a great deal. Will be playing double that and more for a league match. I for one am definitly hoping for a decent cup run.

My ambition for this game, if I'm honest, is that we don't pick up any more injuries; anything more than that would be a bonus.

I'm going and looking forward to hopefully seeing Hoilett, Taarabt and M'Bia get a run out. I'm not sure Reading will put out a strong side though as they don't have the strength in depth that we do and both sides will no doubt rest players.

Reading will put out the same side that got 'murdered' by Spurs. They put out a strong team in the last round and tbh they don't have strength in depth.
I'm with G-C on this and hope we don't get kicked off the park. Should be a good cup tie and expect them to bring more han Walsall as its just along the M4. Tickets will sell after the weekend game.

I would like to think that we will be too strong for them and hopefully we will expose their slow defenders. Saying that they always raise their game against us.
    3-0 to Rangers

I'm going - I want a cup run!! Hate 2nd teams being fielded in the cups. First time I can remember our '2nd' team is still more than decent. Let's try and get to the final - it'd be great. We can win a cup - let's do our best
