Basically the game is a bit like a trading card game, outside of the actual matches of course. You get packs, and what you get is totally random. There are Bronze, Silver and Gold players. Bronze being the lesser players, Silver the middle class, and Gold the highest. Shiny golds are rares, and there are In form cards that are basically an upgraded verison of a player. Like the weeks when Ba scored hat tricks last seaosn, he got an IF card, and it basically means you get a version of him which is better than his normal card. They are rare, and cost a bomb. Anyways, you can get any card in a pack, but obviously rare cards are harder to find. The cards/players/contracts you get in packs, you can keep or sell. And you get coins for selling them, the amount determined by how the auction goes, or if your "buy it now" price is met. Sort of like Ebay. ... and breaths. You get what I'm saying?
Had a bit of success today on UT. I didn't get any of the loyalty pack, and all I got was the starter Bronze pack thing. Spent a while trading, managed to find a player for a bargain, and sold it for a good profit. I have about 7.5k coins now. I can start building my team.
Might have to get me this. Got a PS3 and an X box, not too sure which console to get it on. Takes me ages to get any good on these now. I used to be ****ing awesome pre kids, but now I play only a couple of hours a week and get beaten like a ginger step kid when I play online.
Excited for this weekend because I've flashed my xbox I can get FIFA (Don't worry do-gooders it's pre-ordered too!). I saw somebody on youtube play a build of FIFA that's after the demo and he said the gameplay's been refined further, although didn't really explain this. I completely understand the comments on the last page about the game suddenly turning on you and you can't do anything about it. You can feel it coming when suddenly your player's like to pass to the opposition and the buggers become impossible to tackle. In other news I got Borderlands 2 last week and that's highly recommended by me. 4-player co-op RPG/FPS and insanely fun. 9/10. Torchlight 2 was out yesterday (on PC, should come to console as the last one did?) and that's really good, think it's about £13 on Steam. It's an action-RPG (Hack 'n' Slash) for anyone who didn't know and can play co-op up to 4 people. 8/10. I'll be uploading FIFA videos as soon as I get it too if you want to look up my channel sometime next week (mole5k1). How did I not find this thread before?
Managed to raise 7k coins. I've got my Italian team half done. I managed to get Totti for only 500 coins. Absolutely shocking how some players aren't realised for their quality. He's only got about 30 for pace, but his passing is still at 89. He's got 85 for shooting and 85 for dribbling. But some people need pace to play, because they're ****e. Anyway, I got Aqualani and also Antonia Nocerino. Abbiati in goal. And a few decent defenders.
Anyone played Diablo? One of the lads on our board said it was good and I'm looking for a new game. Played all the MW series and Skyrim, Gears and all the well known games in the last 2 years but I'm stuck at the moment and every game I get sucks.
Apparently much less so in 13, so hopefully all those idiots will spend all their coins on fast players and not realise they're ****, whilst slower players will be affordable. I live Diablo 3. It's quite hard to find time to play those other games I listed above because it interferes with my Diabloing.
Diablo 3 has had a lot of bad reviews. There were quite a few elite players that thought it was too different to Diablo 2, and started crying. And most bad reviews came on the first day, when there were server issues. I loved the game. I think the online co-op was a bit of let down, the community isn't as good. But the game itself is awesome. Gets a bit boring after a while though. All I really seemed to be doing was leveling, and I think it's too easy to do. On Diablo 2 it took a while, and I kept on coming back. I played Diablo 3 all day every day for about 2-3 weeks, then got bored.
Anyone suggest any good games for the Xbox ? I've just completed all 3 CSI games - mainly as I'm trying to beat my mates xbox gamerscore but I'm getting pretty bored of these sort of games now. Games I've enjoyed are ones like The Godfather and LA Noire is ok
I got my kids the Saints Row 3 game. However I'm not sure if it's any good as when I watched them on it I think they must have been using cheats as they were playing as a toilet with a machine gun I might give it a go without the cheats at some point.
If you liked those then maybe try Sleeping Dogs, it's a very good open-world action game and I found the story gripping. More chance of it getting 3 RROD
Xbox live support is ****, for some reason when i set up my account i used a fake email address i think because when i first got xbox when it came out i was only 17 and couldnt be doing with the parental bs. Because i forgot the password i used when i try to reset it the link gets sent to the fake address. Pretty stupid of me i guess. Anyway i was chatting to one of there "agents" who after 25-30 minutes couldn't just change over the email address attached to the account but got me to fill in some nonsense recovery thing to which it takes up to 24 hours for them to decide on whether i am the owner of the xbox live account. What happens if they decide i am not? probaly i have to create a new gamer tag account and everything ****ers. All i wanted to do was set up my ultimate team before the game comes out, prickssssss. Sorry about that needed somewhere to rant.
I had the same problem with a email address that couldn't be crossed over. The problem lies with Windows Live, not Xbox support mate. You just need to cancel your subscription or delete your old account, and make a new one. You'll still be able to play ultimate team, and if you pre-order the ultimate edition, you get loads of free gold packs to help boost you up.
Thing is i really didnt want to have to create a new account i like this 1. I can still use it just can't log into stuff on the web like that ultimate team app. Already ordered the ultimate edition aswel! Can't wait!
Ah, well if you made the fake email address, then I suppose that will **** you over. I guess you'll just have to wait. Eventually, though, you will have to make another account, if you can't make a new email for your current account. If your current xbox gets broken, or if you decide to buy the xbox 720 when it comes out, then you will need to recover your account on the new system. And you do that by typing in your email address and verifying it ect. Eventually you'll need to do it. I needed to make a new account because some angry little twat decided to try and hack my account and my email. They kept on typing in the wrong password/security questions ect and got it permanently locked. So I just decided to make a new account.
