Does he put that sort of effort in with Yeates too? He can't get them on target either.

He does. He spent 25 mins with Yeates, Murray, Vydra and Dickinson during the international break. He was trying to show them how to get swerve and dip on it.

I'd be happy for GZ to pull on a Watford shirt and cross the white line again. He'd be better than most even at his age and not just free kicks!

Taking free kicks and nothing else can take you a long way though. Just ask David Beckham.

Mingoia and Whichelow both played as subs for Accrington last night in their 4-3 defeat at Chesterfield. They came on 10 mins into the second half when it was 2-1 to Chesterfield. Despite the result, I think it was a good game for them to make their debuts as Chesterfield are one of the better footballing sides in that division. If Stanley play Gillingham while PM and MW are there, I wonder if they'll cope with the physicality of Martin "Mad Dog" Allen's team.

Funnily enough I have been up there this morning and have deduced that its being played at either loftus road, or the QPR training ground. I was hoping I might get a look in, but it wont happen im afraid. :(

Deeney did play and seemingly looked quite fit.

The goal was from Steve Leo Belleck.

Berti Shnezel is a new name for me and he has not been in the academy teams for Crawley MK Dons or Dagenham matches.

Update on the Matt Springham [sports scientist]. He left to join Brighton. Its a good move as he is probably on a fair bit more, but he is still young and likely to be junior to another. Whereas at watford he was in charge of keeping the players fit.
