    Sadly, I will not be there as a friend of mine had the wizard idea of getting married on Saturday. I really hope we win, if only because it makes it a lot nicer on here.;)

    Hang on, I'm getting a report in from the future...

    3-1 Saints. Underestimating the Saints, Villa played 3 at the back and didn't expect such a potent strike force (although Saints were a shade fortunate when Hoovield deflected the second in) The Saints defence looked tight at the back, the whole team having evidently worked on that since the Arsenal match. The Villa goal late in the second half barely saved their blushes and had a hint of offside about it. It didn't matter much to the Saints fans by then, as they were three goals to the good and had seen their dominate for large portions of the game. Young Luke Shaw in particular, looked impressive, after Danny Fox had to withdraw injured after 17 minutes. Adkins said something about a bus in the post-match interview and confirmed that the Fox injury was not a serious one.

    Anyone remember the 2005 game where we were 2-0 up at half time and lost 3-2. Steve Davis scored the winner. The year before that we drew 1-1 after Howard Webb gave them the softest penalty in history.

    I have a bad feeling about this game, not sure why. Hope I am wrong but think we will play well but lose, 2-1 Villa.
