I've got no intention of putting a dampener on what is rightly a day (or ten) to celebrate a great victory over one of the biggest clubs in Europe on their own patch. <whistle>
But like most Hull City supporters, I know brilliant runs of form and results like the one's we're now having usually come to an end and then the hard grind starts again.

I think City will go up this season and I don't see any reason why it shouldn't be an automatic place, but at the moment all of our players seem to have hit top form together, we have few injuries and the 5-3-2 system is baffling opposition managers and players alike.
Like all teams this season the test of character will come if we have a run of average / bad results, injuries / suspensions and a fall in the table. Add to that we might get quite a few teams 'parking the bus' at the KC.

The experience of our manager, the quality, experience and youth of the team, the commitment of the owners and the general good spirit throughout the club suggest we shouldn't worry, but all I'm saying is let's enjoy this run while it's happening, but not be too hard on players / management if things get a bit tougher.

Injuries play a big part for any club so thats important, there is a long way to go but this is a very good pacey Hull city side

Whatever the reason - the likes of Norwich & Soton got momentum and whatever the opposition did they still continued to win games. So why not us?

As I've stated on other threads, I think Steve Bruce will be pro-active in trying to bring in quality on loan because injuries or fatigue is inevitable

Norwich & Southampton had momentum from League 1 promotion but I agree if we can get on a run then teams will be genuinely worried about us. Having the belief you can beat the opposition is something I think we have lacked in the last couple of seasons but that is definitely not the case at the minute.

No reason at all and I hope we thrash everyone right through the season.

Every team has a bad patch of results. Reading and Southampton had that last year. But its far easier to ride out the bad patch if you get off to a good start. The players are on a roll and it shows no signs of stopping. Even losing Oli last night, Evans came into the team and did his job well and covered for Olis absence. The quality of our goals is something that other teams and managers will be most worried about. The team has pace to burn and burn others they are doing. Thankfully CITY get an extra days recovery time prior to the next game. We can all sit back now and watch everyone else toil and hopefully drop points at the weekend. Whatever happens elsewhere ower the coming weekend Hull City will kick off @ Lesta still in the top six and possibly with a chance of going top. Subject to how Blackburn do on friday night when they host Middlesboro Live on sky.

Looking at Hull Citys next 7 games there is no reason at all for the run not to continue.

    Leicester City Away............................Win
    PETERBORO Home..............................Win
BLACKPOOL Home..............................Win* (this game will suit us down to the ground)
    Sheff Wendies Away...........................Win
    IPSWICH Home.................................Win
    Middlesboro Away..............................Draw*
    Bristol City Away.................................Draw*

    * these 3 games are the hardest to predict for obvious reason. November fixtures do get tougher, at least on paper.

Why is it ffs ? The way we are playing at the moment only Blackpool look to have the quality to match us. <ok>

I would but history shows that Middlesboro and Bristol City have been bogey grounds for us in the past. Even your limited knowledge should know that OLM. <ok>

Who may that be then ?

As far as I can see, your only knowledge is about pies and even then it's only numerical.

You hit the nail on the head in your own statement there - at the moment. 7 games down the line we might have 15 injuries, 5 suspensions and have lost the previous 5 scoring no goals whereas the opposition couldve made 5 loan signings and have won 6 on the trot. That good enough for you?

Not really. If you think that has any chance of happening then i suggest you stay in your house and dont go out.

Not even walking under 100 ladders, smashing 100 mirrors and killing 100 black cats could bring us bad luck like that.

Nothing like being positive is there BCC.

    Robert Koren?

If you're meaning Tom Ince; big woop. He's having a Cameron Stewart golden patch at the moment and to be honest I don't see it lasting that long. One bad game and his confidence may be shot. I can see us beating Blackpool at home, tight scoreline, but I can optimistically see a City win

It's got absolutely nothing to do with being positive or otherwise. Football is just a ridiculous game where anything can happen. How many times do the bottom team in the league beat the top one? Bloody ridiculously regularly thats how often.

Alright then, you want to predict every game for the rest of the season now and give me £5 for every one you get wrong?
