There's an article on Yorkshire Post that is written along the lines of Leeds gifting us the points! Bit unfair as we were by far the better team
What do you expect from a group of people who are so up there own backsides ? Colins after match press conference was a joke. The penalty was a bigger joke and TWS 2nd goal a gift(free header) so where TWS think they were going to be 2/3 goals up so early nevermind at the end beggars belief. For 70 mins of the game TWS were raped in there own bedroom. This football is far to good for all championship teams even Blackburn Rovers. Onwards now to Pearsons farewell / swansong on sunday. www.yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk/sport/leeds-united some very interesting reading in the Leeds Utd bits.
Fantastic atmosphere............in our corner lol!! Cant speak today! and I know its not big or clever but....funny that someone got a flare in after TWS strict searching at the turnstiles! Lets have more of the same at Leicester!!!
lol I thought I saw em later after the plod had hauled em out.............thought nah cant have been! Guess it was Nice work! Properly got the crowd bouncing (not that we needed much encouragement mind........place was already rocking)
Loved the way they showed the highlights on the big screen last night, as if the white ****e fans hadnt seen enough!
But great! Theyre obviously not used 2 getting played off their own park and must show the highlights every game.
lol yeah totally! Still no complaints from me.......just a shame they didnt show us the penalty decision
I just knew you would come back with that one. Yes Hull City lost the game more than Blackburn won it. A travesty of a result.
Not as bad as the Emirates when we won there. It was almost as though they were showing the highlights and Wenger's wacky reactions just for our amusement. Also at Sheff Utd when Bullard got a late winner a couple of years ago they put the highlights on after the game and there was only us away fans left, we ended up celebrating the goal in full all over again I feel like I haven't said it enough so - last night was just awesome. We knew we were capable of playing them off the park but in a derby game especially at Elland Road you just don't know what'll happen but we coped with them brilliantly. They were always going to get all the decisions but seeing us fight back like that to go 3-1 up was most impressive. It's one thing at home games but to control a game to that extent at a place like ER is incredible. This team is clearly going places. It's a shame that we keep conceding soft headed goals (3-1 looks like a battering, but 3-2 at a glance looks like a tight game) and I'm sure Brucey will prioritise this.
Winning at Leeds is no big deal- they are mid table outfit at this level. Billy Bremner is no longer around to offer Don's manilla gift to the opposition, and their status as a pseudo big club vanished about 10 years ago. Winning at Bramall Lane was far more difficult and far more satisfying!
