    Yeah but its clearly not a song just about the Suarez stuff. Claiming its not Hillsborough related is outrageous. Its as outrageous as a guy I saw claiming on the old 606 (I think that's where it was) that he continuously posted about "Munich" then when questioned on it it was apparently because Man Utd had been knocked out by Bayern in the CL. Yeah, right.

    It was ridiculous and fooled no one, much like Ferguson's comments aren't fooling anyone with half a brain.

    Can't edit but the "then when questioned on it it was apparently " doesn't need to be there. I changed the wording but forgot to take that bit out.

    He didn't claim it wasn't Hillsborough related. What he said is that it started after the Suarez incident. That's simply a statement of fact - that song was not sung prior to last season.

    He has in no way denied that it is an accusation, an unfair and unfounded one, that Liverpool have tried to dodge any blame for both Hillsborough and the Suarez incident, and I assume those singing it are trying to include Heysel in there as well. If you want to try and read that into what he's said, then that's more influenced by your view on him than by what he has actually said.

    I don't see much wrong with what Fergie has said, it was the supporters trust that denied it was related to Hillsborough. The chant started after the Suarez incident but is obviously also related to Hysel and Hillsborough. Fergie does try to play down the incident but so he should as manager of Utd.

    There will always be a minority of idiots I just hope that both clubs start doing something about this minority.
