I think it will probably be a pairing of Yoshida and Fonte, with maybe Stephens at right back, though he has been played at centre back more lately. I'm sure Adkins would like to see more of Stephens and Shaw so I'm guessing they'll both start.
For you sir we will serve what ever you like but yes we do serve Pimms. Do you want all that fruit and cucumber nonsence or do you want it straight. Believe it or not I knew a guy who once did drink it straight as he had never come across Pimms before. Goodness knows what it was like. Quite sickly I should think. A tough evening for your boys I believe sir. Do you think the home gate will suffer if they don't soon get a home win under their belts pretty soon? What do you think of this ex Watford guy making a bid? Is he serious or is he part of this conspiracy thing I keep hearing about?
I asked those Pompey chaps on their board to stop referring to us as scum so I suppose to be fair and equitable I have to say I don't think we should call them skates either. You may choose to respond to this request but I hope it will be a little more polite than the response I had from a Pompey fan.
I really liked the look of this guy last season before he got injured. I hope he gets a full game on Tuesday. All in all Tuesday's game is going to be quite an interesting one and I would have thought a must see one for all Saints fans.
J W-P is a really bright prospect and one that I hope gets plenty of game time without over playing him. Stevens could be in a position to cover both right back and central defensive positions soon. Do you still have some Godet VSOP cognac mine host. A beautifully smooth and very enjoyable drink. If you have, a large double please. And try one for yourself.
I just checked my watch and it's Sambuca time. So shots for everyone please barman. JWP has been one of the biggest plusses this season and has fitted in with no fuss at such a young age. MOTD did a piece on Joe Allen and passing for passing sake. Sometimes I find our midfield three being a little guilty of this and I wonder if people think this is due to lack of options and mobility further up the pitch or a fear of giving the ball away?
You are in luck sir. I'll pass you the bottle and please help yourself. It will be a pleasure to join you. Your very good health sir. Cheers.
No sooner said than done sir. Enjoy. I tend to agree sir and feel at times that we end up playing several passes when one simple pass would have given us the same result.
Thank you! By straight do you mean just without fruit or neat? With fruit it does make a really big difference, I think, especially strawberries. I've had it without fruit many a time though. I've also had it neat (i.e. with no lemonade) before and it's.... not bad really. Also another good combo: Pimm's and Coca Cola. Tough but not unexpected, and one of the Swindon players who scored against us was let go by Cotterill and then went on to become League 2 player of the year, thanks for that Steve. I would imagine so as it's only natural, the average fan doesn't really want to watch their team get hammered week in, week out. It'll especially go down if Chainrai gets the club, conversely if the PST get the club, attendances may increase quite a bit. Could be a part of the conspiracy, from what I've heard he sounds like a very dodgy character. Watford fans all agree that he was perhaps the worst thing to ever happen to their club and they were lucky to be rid of him when they were. Apparently he was declared bankrupt, then changed his name so he could get away from the stigma or some rubbish, somehow a few months later he had enough money to take over Watford. Go figure! Yeah, Skates and Scummers (sounds like a board game! ) are stupid terms and I'm against them, particularly when Portsmouth fans use the term scum.
Another pint of the usual please Godders.... Keith Cassells was, I believe, signed at the same time as Mark Wright in a combined deal from Oxford Utd....I'm guessing that the year was probably 1981.
What a brilliant piece of business that was by Lawrie. The years sounds about right but I would have to look it up. Here is your drink sir. Can I get you anything else.
I am oh so impressed. How do you get all of those quotes into one post? I have to say that I am a fan of the PST taking control of the club as I think Pompey benefit from a loyal fan base who only want the best for their club and who want to cleanse the club of its recent shameful history. I also think that it could be an ownership model that sets a trend which may rid football forever from some of the dodgy people that seem to hang around looking for a club to buy in some finacially decietful way. Any way enjoy your pimms.
I'm afraid that will be messy seconds sir. She is spending the night with me in the shed but please keep that to yourself. Do you by any chance have any of those Viagra thingies that a chap could have only I think I might need more than just a little help.
This thread is beginning to feel like those improvised role play games your drama teacher made you take part in at school. We only use to do it to humour her as we all fancied her like mad. Oh to be fifteen again and never been kissed.
A fan of Socrates? (the philosopher, not the Brazilian footballer) Are you still really upset about Saturday? Sorry landlord, I forgot. A pint of Old Thumper please!
