Incredible that theyve still got 11 men. Ref didnt even give a free kick when their lad tried to break Fayes legs. He found time to.book Bruce of course though. Then as Aluko takes the defender on and strides into the area he's brought down, definitely in on goal and only a yellow. The penalty looked well outside the area, ball, defender, attacker, all outside with a large divot caused by the tackle a good 2 yards outside. Diouf also looked like he's foules Dudgeon in getting the ball in the first place. Leeds fans were enraged when we got a free kick on halfway - it must be hard for them. Special mention for Evans who was at fault for both Leeds attacks in the first half. We're looking classy again though.
I did worry about Evans not been able to play the role Oli was but we are winning, and if we win we can discuss beating Leeds whilst they cheat.
Can't see how you think it was cheating, a definite foul and yes outside the box, the linesman gave it not the ref, this division sadly seems full of poor quality refs and linesmen.
Typical Leeds tactics, kick **** out of the opposition. And ****ing scunny leeds fans booing because the ref stops play for a hull players head injury. ****ing club should have gone bust.
He's right though. Diouf was fouled either way so we can't be accused of cheating for an incorrect decision. If it was the case though Newcastle would be right cheating bastards after last night. Well done on your win though you were clearly the better side. You main problems this season look to be Cardiff, Blackpool and Blackburn though. Some very strong sides up there.
I'm afraid that your club has become synonymous with cheating over the years, which you'll admit if you are honest..... You can't be surprised that fans suspect your players of this. Agreed?
No. Not in the slightest. I'm not going down that route though, the point in this case is about how a referees incorrect decision can be classed as cheating.
No, I suppose the things I mentioned aren't cheating, just bad luck. Can anyone explain Amos' booking to me? He was puttingthe ball where hewanted to take it from, rather than where Diouf put it. Isnt that his right? Its not like he was messing about with the goalposts or anythinng like some keepers do.
Agreed with everything you said. We were stood level with the pen and the linesman quite clearly gave a Free Kick to leeds; and then blunderref walks over and gives a penalty :S. The linesman was actually stood where Diouf fell over (2/3 yards outside the box) and never bloody said anything. All worth it in the end though; same again on Sunday please boys; without the 90th minute goal to stress me out
Thank you for the last paragraph... however the penalty was not only not a foul as I was stood next to the bloody thing; but was 2/3 yards outside the box. Eyes, that's what they're used for... use yours good sir.
