Hello and welcome to the all new and improved Match day Hub which is now the official place for Gillingham fans, I decided to update this so that you will know where to go and chat before and during the game. I always post this a few days before the match so you can start to create a debate before the game on what you think will happen in the upcoming game, you can post who you think should play in the game and why. In addition to that you may share with us what you think the team will be that plays as that may be different to the team which you think should play, if you think a certain player should not play you can share with us the reason why as it is good to know what the fans think about the team and why certain players should not be in the team if you want to tell us why. So all you need to do is post your starting 11 plus the 7 which you think will be on the bench, you may be correct or not but it don't matter as no points are awarded it is just for fun. If I am not at the game I will normally post updates about what is going on and the team which is playing, but when I go to games I write up a match report afterwards. You can post freely during and after the game sharing your opinion with us on the result and what you thought of the players who played. If you go to the game it would be great if you could write up a match day report telling up what you think of the result and what you rate each player out of 10 giving a reason why. This is open to both Gillingham fans and also the opposition, don't be afraid to post just because you are not a Gills fan if it is friendly banter that is allowed. Have fun and debate freely! Just want to add aswell if you do any bets you can share with us what you think is the best bet, I do bets each week so I will share them with you if you want.
Hoadie. Your offer to share your betting tips seems to have had a big effect on bookmakers share prices. Ladbrookes is the second highest riser out of all shares on the London Stock Exchange. I did not realise that one person could exert such influence! Pity its the wrong way.
got my ticket so I will post a match report afterwards, may be on Wednesday as I have college on Wednesday so by the time that I get back I will have things to do so I will have to see if I can get it done otherwise it will be done once I am back from college. I think that the team should be as followed; Nelson Fish Davies Barrett Martin Whelpdale Payne Lee Allen Kedwell Weston (he should be in the team ahead of Burton as he was brilliant when he came on against Bristol Rovers) Subs Forecast Frampton Flanagan Wright Jackman Dack Burton I think after Whelpdale come on he played much better than he has been all season so he has earned his place back if it was upto me. I would drop Wright however I doubt this will happen, also I doubt Jackman will be on the bench even though he should be there. Weston and Whelpdale should be in the team that is what I think, also I hope Davies retains his place and Dack is back on the bench, one thing that upsets me is that I doubt we will see Birchall but what is the reason, why is he not in the team as he is a good player he has waited so long and then he don't even get to play, it is really sad as he had been out so long and it was all exciting thinking how will he be but will he even really get a chance to claim a place, I worry about it just like with Jackman and Essam as them 3 don't seem to be in the plans at the moment. Jackman walked past me at the weekend and a fan asked him why he was not in the team and he said I am not needed at the moment and he looked really pissed off about it. I think he is at least worth a place on the bench ahead of Montrose as he is such a good player and should not be wasted.
Lee went off injured don't know what wrong but Paul Smith the Southend keeper looks badly hurt after a clash with Burton.

11 minutes of stoppage time.....Dack sent off in the 8th minute of time added on in the first half!!!!! What the **** is going on out there? I'm sure a half time chat from Mad Dog and a re shuffle is on the cards. I knew this would be a tough one, but it is either war out there or the ref has lost control.
Anyone else out there.......can't get onto the Gills website live player....just watching live updates on the BBC in disbelief!
Just got Gills site on live. Sitting here in my tin box chewing my nails. I now understand the hold up.......
squeeky bum time! P.S Windyrog- i haven't been able to get on gills player for the last two games....but remembered that you can log into player on any of the other football league club's websites...
also, Man City 2-1 up at the Bernebeu with 5 mins to go - end up losing 3-2. Now they might have an inkling how it feels...
That was a great game, we held out so well, Fish made me happy, he did not start well but was so good after the first 20 minutes, he is such a good player getting forward aswell, I will post a report but it will not be as long as I have college tomorrow, there is so much to talk about I may add more tomorrow.
