If your hungry then I am sure the very lovely Mrs Godders:emoticon-0115-inlov will knock you up one of her special marmite doorstep sandwiches in no time!

While she's doing that would you like another Guinness?

By the way have you got your ticket for next Tuesday? I got ours today and because I had no cash on me I used my card and ended up paying £3 in booking fees.

Hang on a minute I'll get my specs. Now where is she?

Personally I like a more mature woman myself. I find them more of a challenge.

The very lovely Mrs Godders:emoticon-0115-inlov and I regularly rent a villa in France but safe to say we haven't been bothered by the paparazzi and probably wouldn't be as she gave up topless sunbathing last year.

Anyway it's last orders now gentlemen please.

I'll take a double Grouse, please. Straying off topic, I note that your footer is that quote from Exotic Marigold Hotel. Good choice, and we should always remember that we are only ever in one small chapter of the history of Southampton FC.

My prediction is that JWP is going to blow the socks off the Premier League and will indeed be a role model for others. As for Shaw, young defenders are always at a disadvantage. Some of us will remember young Wayne Bridge being suckered by Alan Shearer. Quality forwards always have the advantage. It's a bit like dealing with terrorism. The attacker only has to be lucky once, whereas the defender has to be lucky all of the time.

How on earth did we get from Ward Prowse to Mrs St G's assets??............. Come on guys back on subject please..........
Ward prowse does lack experience and of course he is learning very quickly........On the field of play however what he lacks in experience is more than made up for with his energy, drive and enthusiasm. He is only 17 though so we need to beware of this other wise he will run out of steam to early. No doubt Nigel knows this and has taken that into consideration and when Corky is fully fit will not start so many games in my view.

94% pass accuracy vs Arsenal is a pretty impressive stat from JWP

Yep when you consider he's been up against three of the top midfield's in the league. He's done outstandingly well!

With young players it is always hard to say who will make it. I remember Nick Holmes making his debut with another young midfielder. We all know what happened to Nick but I can't even remember the other young player's name. It is early days yet but I have to admit that I have really enjoyed JWP's performances todate and feel that we may be getting some of the old Spirit of Southampton back in the side! I don't think Nicola will like me saying that though.

I really didn't know that. I started this thread out of shear disappointment at the loss of something I actually thought was very good.

This barman malarkey is dam hard work.

As everyones quite safe now Barnard has gone on loan to Swindon I wonder which of our squad people would enjoy having a drink with?

I think I would enjoy sharing a tipple with Guly as I would like to know what he really thinks about the way some sections of the crowd treat him particularly after Wenger's comments today about his concern that Arsenal's boo boys don't affect Theo's progress.

If only those who boo players realised what a destructive and counter productive thing they do.

I would also ensure that Guly got a cab or walked home afterwards.
