Whittingham, clock a hoop with two goals to his name when he stepped up....stunning effort and quite normal for him or, hero Bellamy 0-0 desperate for a goal to spark a win and three vital points...again a stunner from a similar place!
Which was the better goal folks?

The jury's out RB. Looks like a split decision, both brilliant and game changing. To be honest, I don't care as long as they both keep sdoing it. <ok>

Just let them slug it out to the end of the season. 20 freekick's each would be nice to compare at the end of the season.

Can't remember who commented on it a while back, but we do seem to have wingers and strikers who will draw a lot of fouls in and around the penalty box providing plenty of practice.

Yes, makes a real change from last season when the only ways into the box (apart from Mason's channel runs) were the good old up and under to Millar and aet pieces.

We are now back to the times of Burkie and Chops when we won pens for fun - cue comments from Jacks, lol!!!

They're only jealous because all the free kicks they get are on the half way line when the opposition kick them out of boredom from all the tippy tappy in their own half. :emoticon-0130-devil

Back in the day, we had players who could thunder shots at goal, Buchanan comes to mind. game seems to have changed for us in that respect, more intricate perhaps. Last ferocious shot was from Parkin against Norwich (debut), and McNaughton against Hereford! Whiltts seems to arrow shots...precisely enough mind! Did I say McNaughton?

See Allen is getting stick already from the scousers about his crab style of football passing ..side to side .

To be fair JH, I was having a WUM. The Swans seem to have a better balance to their approach this year. Not saying it will be more effective, but certainly more forward looking. Whatever happens at Liverpool is more likely to be down to Rogers than Allen.

    I thought he meant Neil.

I thought both freekicks were great, but if I had to pick it would be Beller's

Bellamy & Whittingham ...... which ones heart & which ones soul is another good question . All roads to the Premier go through both IMO
