Looking forward to this one, ild like Leeds fans alot more if it wasn't for their constant "we won the league 100 years ago" persona! Its so boring! Alot has changed since then... apart from you still have a pretty average team that like to injure the opposition! UTT

Yeah they do, Quinn has got an assist and a goal in 2 games, could have had 2 but it wasn't given. Elmohammedy puts balls into the box, which we haven't done in recent Seasons and was the main factor of our lack of goals. These 2 have given us that extra attacking flurry. Put it this way, before they both signed, it was a 1 - 0 win, 1 - 0 loss, 0 - 0 draw. That's another lack of goals; after they sign however, 3 - 1 win, 4 - 1 win. There's a pattern emerging is there not?

EDIT:- And Quinn has had MOTM both games he's played.

    Vastly.

Bruce plays 3-5-2, but we didn't really have a squad that suited that system, the addition of Elmohamady and Quinn completed the jigsaw and we now look a completely different team.

Only 1,200 tickets sold so far, there'll be some paying on the gate, but it's still likely to be less than 1,500.

Extortionate ticket prices for a midweek night match doesn't make for a good turn-out.

Stupid post. Most Premier League teams have players such as Yaya Toure, David Silva, Paul Scholes, Moussa Dembele etc etc. Those teams who don't have that quality have probably noticed Quinn but when you're a Manager under pressure, you don't want to be signing League 1 players do you?

Our scouts picked him up fair and square. You lot rave about Rudolph Austin, he's obviously so good that he didn't go to the Premier League either...

Look at Aluko, he chose Hull over "Massively successful and truly huge and amazing L**ds". Must be insane... <whistle>

Funnily enough, Quinn has got MOTM in his first two games, got two assists and a goal so for some strange reason we are starting to think he looks a player. Like you lot can talk about league one players, god knows how many Pompey players you have signed, doing it cheaply I see going to a club snatching their relegated players on the cheap, oh so classy.

Leeds never actually tried to sign Aluko
Austin had virtually signed for Stoke other season but he couldn't get a work permit
I like Quinn but hes not that good Norris is better

Actually, Bruce saw him in the league one play off final and was highly impressed, he said that himself, scouts were nowt to do with it.

And the worlds greatest ever manager Sir Alex Ferguson (what a legend) signed Powell from league 2, whoever was Fulham boss signed Smalling from non league.

And Aluko chose Hull over not just Leeds, but also clubs from Spain, Turkey, France, Italy, China, and one of the greatest domestic leagues in the world - India. That says alot more!

Well considering all the moaning you lot did about him, he has been excellent for us. We have conceded 3 goals in our first 5 games, how many have you conceded? :)

So how many has Norris assisted/scored in 2 games? Take it he scored on his debut and assisted another and then the next game, set up another and had a goal disallowed. Okay. Trust L**ds fans to judge a player before seeing him play. We've all seen Norris play before you attempt to say, "Well you haven't seen Norris play you MASSIVE hypocrite!" ;)

Our defence is alot better than last season though. We know that. We have conceded more than you this season, doesn't alter the fact, Jason Pearce> Alex Bruce

Well I can't remember seeing what Pearce is like, but the stats speak for themselves. Brucey playing at the back with better players obviously makes him feel more comfortable, and he is a much better player for it.

Stats don't mean anything. Bruce started off well for us then went down hill. I expect him to probably do the same for you around about the same time you go downhill
