Dunno about Hulse, but totally agree on DJ should have been in the squad. Possibly Betty too. I'm sure Tarbs and Mackie can pitch in, but it was absolutely inevitable that one of our three aging strikers would pick up an injury at some point. Now we only having two available to us, and that was just shortsighted by MH. Personally I wouldn't have had either Ephraim or Dyer in the squad, and would have had one or two more strikers.

There was concern about his injury record. Does depend on nature of injury. Ruptured acl = 4 months minimum. Real pity but, as we know, that is the QPR way.

It’s really unlucky for AJ as this is a horrid injury to get particularly when you’re 31. It’s even worse luck given his horrific injury record over the last few seasons.

Form what I have seen (limited to MOTD) he seems to had made a good start for you guys. It’s never nice to see a player get an injury like this (regardless of local rivalries) Hopefully he will recover from it and be back before the end of the season.

Thank goodness soomeone's said it! It's totally and utterly sh*te. It's way too busy, with far too much unecessary multi-media rubbish on it, meaning that half the time it crashes by whole internet browser. And as for getting it to work properly on a smartphone, no chance!

Particularly laugh-able is that at the bottom of virtually report there is a "click here to read more" option, which you have to click to read the end of the report. This only ever consists of one line of text. WTF?

    Sort it out offish!

Fulham fan in peace. Sorry to hear about AJ. He divided opinion on our board, but to my mind he always gave 100% and was a great player for us in everything except goalscoring. I think his best days were behind him when he came to us, never mind to you, but I wanted him - and Zamora - to do well with you. I hope his recovery is quicker than expected. Good luck for the season (apart from a certain two games, obviously).

You really think MH went into the first half of the season gambling on the fitness of three players??? B****cks. We have enough versatile attackers to find a formation that suits, without having to call on **** like hulse or betty. If all three go down then that's just f***ing rotten luck.

Not so sure this will be the case if Cisse or Zamora get injured.

Shame, he looked good, sharp and good pace too. I think him and Zamora would have linked up well together. Why Hoillet isn't starting every game over Swp/ Mackie??. Both are average squad players!

I would like to see Hoilett back in the team
Also he can play as a striker if needed, a better option than Mackie for that role

Add DJ to that list, I don't rate any of them. The point is Hogan will not even get on the bench and the squad was a striker light(even a **** one is better than nothing!)

Why isn't Hoillet (and / or Adel) not starting every game over Swp/ Park??. Both are average squad players, and best in more defensive midfield positions!

Midfielder's ain't strikers unless you play the Barcelona way 100%. That would actually mean Zamora not playing at all IMO. No long balls, Mackie and Hoilett pressing defenders, Cisse sniffing but goals coming primarily from midfield.

SWP agree, don't understand what you have against Park. He was very good against Chelsea, whenever he got the ball their defense back pedalled. He missed the best chance, but I doubt Tarbs or Junior would have got to where he was in the first place. And he still hasn't played in his natural position. Would like to see him right mid, Tarbs or Hoilett left mid.
Park is not an average squad player, and certainly not to be bracketed with SWP. You are in for a frustrating year if you don't like him Jock, he is one of the first on the team sheet.

Free agents can still be signed by a club at any time, but he would need to be U21 to get around the 25 man squad rule...doubt there are many decent U21 free agents to pick up, or we (or someone else) would have done so already.

We can loan players out to lower leagues, but are unable to bring anyone in on loan. Obviously we can not complete any permanent deals until January.

All that pretty much means we need to make do with what we have...let's hope Zamora or Cisse dont pick up an injury! I would expect to see more of Hoilett and maybe Adel as others have already stated.

The only other considerations would be U21 players we already have...I can only find details of 2 forwards, Tom Hitchcock (20)
    and Peter Skapetis (17)...
