Getting back to the point of the thread - I love it! Amazing options with the midfield now. Agree with most that three in midfield, Diakete, Faurlin and Granero is very strong but will not support BZ enough. We would need to play at least one of Hoilett and Taarabt. Park and SWP not good enough support but great workers.

I would still like to see 442 at home and wouldn't mind seeing the defensive 451 with Park, Diakete, Granero, Faurlin and SWP/Hoilett against bigger teams away. It's not embarrassing to play for a point at Old Trafford.

From what we have seen this season this just won't work (on paper I love it) because as i've said, nobody else will be getting in the box apart from Cisse\Zamora, it works for breaks but not the rest of the game, just too easy for the two opposing CDs. I imagine it's why MH is always playing 2 up front, this system works well when there are several people try to get into the box and the CD don't who to pick up, late runs by Midfielders and on a lot of occasions people in advance of the striker.

An adult at last..... Faulin, Granero and Park always....... with a combination of Hoillet/Tarbs/SWP and I do think we should be playing two out and out attackers at home. Cisse and Zamora but I agree away v big teams play 5 in midfield.
However I do not think that it is the attack that is the real problem....the defence is brittle and we will see how brittle with Anton now injured
