one more than ally after his first year. to be fair ally wrapped up the top of the league in early october trophy nae bother
Ally will have got one year and no trophy. The only reason he has lasted the year is that he pleaded with those running the club to be allowed to stay on as he would work for no wages. Some manager, so little confidence in his ability to keep job that he worked for nothing. Neil Lennon, has done a very good job for Celtic, unfortunately last Sunday was one day that did not go well for him or Celtic. If you are of the belief that the manager of a club has a very important role in preparing his team for a game I think you would have to agree that last week was particularly difficult for Lennon. I cannot recall any manager having to spend the week preceding an important game, giving evidence at a court case where two Supporters of a rival team, that are in administrator, are accused of attempting to murder him. The pressure he was under is unprecedented. Only in Scotland and only as a Celtic manager could this happen.
the problem is lustig. not only is he **** but we do not win any time he plays (just made this up to suit my own dislike of him. no idea if its true)
He doesn't have much of a presence about him, as yet anyway and doesn't really inspire confidence but I think he's a decent player who will improve with more starts - unfortunately, however, he may not get enough of these to be able to progress at the rate to which we need him. He did ok today except for allowing his man to cut inside him for one of the goals - but I think he put in a better shift than quite a few others, that's for sure ...
Rogueleader thinks we should have got an experienced EPL Manager for example Roy Keane and we should have given Roy a minimum budget of £50m. All our problems would be over and we wouldn't be beaten by St Johnstone. Our strike force would be players like Carroll and Defoe who would terrorise every SPL defence. A lovely dream. One thing is sure the line-up on Wednesday may not be much different than Saturday but the spirit and endeavour and skill will be a world of difference. We may just about survive without the spending of £50 odd million. We may win the SPL and we may be in Europe next spring.
just to let you know; a) you`re wrong b) you`re wrong and c) you`re wrong do you sense a pattern emerging ?
Rogueleader just to let you know a) you are right b) you are right c) you are right All in your own mind. Most Celtic supporters think you are wrong, very wrong. Can you see any pattern emerging ? Be very sure if you are ever right about anything to do with Celtic. I will let you know as soon as possible.
rl,if we win on wed is all forgiven? this whole thread is pish! our manager will get it together because he has a talent. try supporting and not turning a drama into a crisis.
Bad a very sensible post. What is wrong with some Celtic fans whose greatest delight seems to be to fault the board, the management, the team or else individual players. I must be badly mistaken I thought that role was for the fans of the opposition. I, foolishly, thought Celtic fans were also Celtic supporters, but I know now I was wrong again.
