Its obvious to Tone that Man City need to finish fourth so we can go into Europe, so if we let Man City win us, this is helping them keep fourth place, securing our place in Europe! Obviously if we were in the relegation zone, I would not be saying this, but we are not, were comfty and were nearly, oh so nearly, in Europe. Jub.
I cannot envisage a Tony Pulis team going out with that mentality. I think whatever the situation we find ourselves in come the league game against Man City, we will give 100% I am sure of it.
I understand where you're coming from Tone will want to play a decent game, but he's gotta think of Europe chances. What different is 11th or 12th in the league? Wouldn't he prefer to be playing Inter Milan etc than be one place higher?

Nah, we're gonna win the FA cup, get in the Europa and then beat 'em again to mess up there league position But no, I don't think Pulis would accept that. Fair enough, Europe will be exciting, but throwing games is totally against the spirit mentality that Pulis works so hard for. I'd love to see us have a European tour, but I don't want to see us disrespect the game for what could potentially be our downfall.
