Death is far too good for the likes of Margaret Thatcher. The evil bitch was actually quite happy to let people die at Hillsborough and then collude in a cover-up to save her own skin and that of her cronies.
Why blame Maggie for this one, the police made the cover up, she only reads the reports, the police had the nation fooled for 30 years, and with all her bad faults, she also did good, i served in the Falklands and was pleased to go, serves the ****ing Argies right for picking on defenceless Britons. And if it wasn't for Maggie i would never have been able to buy my first house, as the other ****ers wanted too keep it as us and them.
Have a read of the comments, lol. I guess she is well liked, .
I'm sorry for all the lads who died in the Falklands Roger but that war was all about getting Maggie re-elected and at no time were the British Isles under threat. I hadn't even heard of the Falklands before that war and at least the Iraq War and the subsequent troubles in that region is about the fight against global terrorism, of which the British Isles has been under attack well before any such invasion. Also, of course there were policies that she got right but far, far too much she got wrong and she had a **** em' all attitude towards large portions of the nation that didn't vote for her, especially here in the NE, that has left a 30 year trail of misery and depression ever since. She wasn't strong, she was just a pig headed vile ****, hell bent on destroying the unions not reforming them (as everyone agreed needed to happen), closing the NHS, creating a two tier society, obliterating the manufacturing sector in the UK, closing all the pits, shipyards and Steel production and making us a service based economy. The outcome of which we are suffering from still. The Germans invested in their manufacturing during this time and its why they are still the European powerhouse.

Apart from the 100,000's of jobs lost in the pits & shipyards, future jobs were lost too. If your father worked in the pits or yards & had a good record, chances were that you could follow him there. Pits were closed all over the country. I remember those blacklegs from Nottingham & Derby breaking the strike & forming a breakaway union as their mines weren't being shut at the time. Thatcher still **** on them. Yards were closed all over too, not just the Tyne or Wear. The Clyde had over 80 yards & now only three remain. Just off the top of my head under her leadership; RHP- 3,000 men, Ever Ready, 2,500 men, British Steel, 12,000 men Singer sewing Machines, 15,000 men. Add to that selling off all the utilities to a public that already owned them. There's 600 years supply of coal left under this nation's land. We could be self sufficient in electricity but that would not have made her cronies rich would it? All those jobs lost only to be replaced by minimum wage ****e. Highly skilled men reduced to answering phones & security work with not even a dog to protect them. She's a ****ing ****, end of.
Try again, Roger. She would have known all too well what had actually happened at Hillsborough. It's just that it suited her to turn her back on the poor people who died and their families. She has no conscience and no soul, the poisonous bitch.
Nice one Jerry, never heard that one before. Try this, local band used to drink in the Roker Hotel, Glueppot Bar.
With Roger here, yes she knew about it but, so did the police, the media, the FA and why didn't successive governments publish the reports? The cover up was on an immense scale yes she was part of it so were a lot of other people though. I left school in 1980 got bounced between govy schemes and the dole finally had enough and joined up, so know all about the Thatcher years and what she did to not only this area but many others. Hate the women with a passion for what she did to the pits and the yards but, to celebrate when she does finally go is coming down to her level and I for one will not be doing that.
