Lennon is facing an enquiry because ONE Rangers fan complained about his "provocative" gesture at the end of the game yesterday.

I would really love to know what he could be charged with. Cupping his ears in an aggressive manner?

Perhaps the Rangers fan had big ears and thought Neil Lennon was mocking him?

I thought they had hit rock bottom when they complained about a joke in Coronation Street but this is a new low for them.

Only in Scotland (more specifically Glasgow) could a football manager be investigated by the police for cupping his ears.

Lennon should be sent down for a LONG time for such provocative behaviour.

The cheek of the man reacting to chants of "What's it like to live in fear?".

Throw away the key, I say.

90 minutes of one away abuse and he cups his ears in retaliation at the end and he's the bastard.

    How dare he respond!

Basically some Rangers fans are simpletons.

Reminds me of the youtube video of Boruc being filmed by one of them and blessing himself only to "provoke" cries of "Goat yay oan film noo, ya diry feeeenyin basa.".

Doesn't take very much to provoke this filth even though many have spent quality time giving it large to the Celtic players/management.

The more you Huns hate him, the more we love him <ok>

The fact that you hate him just shows how good a job he's doing.

I think he's great. Whenever you try to get a hun to give you reasons why he is a bad person you get "um he had a fight with his pregnant girlfriend and he once said orange bastard, I think, the fenian bastard..."

Not counting chickens yet but if we win this league it will be the best in years. If not then Lenny will flatten your team with Ally in charge next season.

The same people who find it ridiculous that Lennon is being investigated for gesturing to opposition fans are the same people who were howling for Diouf's head for throwing his shirt to his OWN fans. Selective offendedness is funny.

I don't remember Lennon being shown a red card, refusing to leave the pitch, or barging past police officers and stewards in order to get to the fans?

Had Lennon been Red Carded at the time he walked onto the pitch?

Did Lennon ignore the instructions of Police and Stewards?

Did any Celtic fans make an official complaint to the nearest Police officer about Joof's behaviour?

    There's a world of difference.

I have seen players being booked for holding their hands to their ears, so at most, Lennon should receive a warning.

Lennon - despite what some would have us believe - is a "Human Being" and was responding to the abuse he was getting (simply for having the temerity to enter the filed of play ..............after the match). Was it provocative? Only if you were one of the "people" doing the jeering surely? After all, he was only responding to the ones who were shouting abuse at him.

**** me the usual pish from rangers fans! I remember the rangers team doing the huddle at parkhead a good few years back after being warned to behave themselves, did any of them get charged? Lenny has you lot rattled something awful from your management players and every single one of your fans. I for one think its marvellous <laugh><ok>

Spot on Mick. I don't think I've been so anxious about winning a title since 97/98. Hope to **** Lenny sticks it right to those ****s with a double this season.

Plus I think most sensible Bears would agree that maybe the man was allowed to act out a bit considering the week he's had.
